Shinsuke Nakamura vs Seth Rollins Last Man Standing Match Announced for Fastlane

We have a new match for WWE Fastlane, as Seth "Freakin" Rollins and Shinsuke Nakamura prepare to clash once again, in a Last Man Standing match for the coveted World Heavyweight Championship. Let's take a closer look at how this epic rematch came to be and what it means for the future of WWE.

It all began at Payback when Seth Rollins and Shinsuke Nakamura locked horns in an intense battle for the World Heavyweight Championship. In a contest that had fans buzzing with anticipation, Rollins emerged victorious, successfully defending his title. However, the story was far from over.

In a shocking turn of events, immediately after the match, Nakamura unleashed a brutal assault on Rollins, sending a clear message that he was far from done with his pursuit of the championship. Rollins was left battered and bruised, requiring assistance to leave the arena.

On the subsequent episode of Raw, still seething from the post-match incident, Rollins took matters into his own hands by challenging Nakamura to an immediate title rematch. But Nakamura, ever the enigmatic strategist, declined the challenge, insisting that the next clash would happen on his own terms. This decision led to an explosive brawl, with Nakamura gaining the upper hand in the confrontation.

The weeks that followed were filled with verbal sparring, sneak attacks, and fierce battles between Rollins and Nakamura. The mind games intensified as Rollins, in a surprising twist, offered Nakamura the opportunity to dictate the terms of their rematch – the place, time, and stipulation. Nakamura, known for his cool and calculated demeanor, accepted Rollins' challenge, paving the way for a match that promises to be nothing short of spectacular.

Fast forward to the latest development, and Nakamura has revealed his intentions. He has chosen a Last Man Standing match as the battleground for their championship clash at WWE Fastlane. This stipulation adds an electrifying dimension to their rivalry, as it requires one competitor to incapacitate the other to the point where they cannot answer a ten-count from the referee. It's a match type that demands resilience, strategy, and a willingness to go to extreme lengths for victory.

As Fastlane approaches, the anticipation for this Last Man Standing match is palpable. Seth Rollins and Shinsuke Nakamura are two of the most skilled and charismatic performers in WWE today, and their chemistry in the ring is undeniable. Expect a physical and psychological battle of epic proportions, with both men pushing themselves to the limit to secure the coveted World Heavyweight Championship.

Book This Episode 1: The Summer of Punk Rebooked Prelude

Let’s go back to 2011, specifically June of 2011. CM Punk’s contract is expiring soon and he’s getting ready to have the biggest run of his career. On June 27th, 2011 CM Punk would cut a promo that would have the wrestling world buzzing for years to come. In his promo, Punk said that his contract expired next month and that he, the Number One Contender, would be leaving  WWE with the WWE Championship. He’d also go onto take shots at not only his opponent the following month, John Cena but other icons in the history of WWE. Whether employed by the company or not. He’d also tease defending his WWE Championship in Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling. Essentially he’d be a travelling World Champion, ala the territory days. Well, CM Punk did win the WWE Championship the next month from John Cena at Money in the Bank. However, what would happen after would disappoint wrestling fans more than anything else that’s happened in years.       How t...

If John Cena Beats Cody Rhodes he Technically Becomes an 18-Time World Champion

John Cena won the Elimination Chamber on Saturday night and secured an Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania this April. What followed was a shocking heel turn that fans have wanted for years. That’s not what I’m talking about here. We’re talking about how John Cena will technically become an 18-time World Champion if he beats Cody Rhodes. That would put him two ahead of Ric Flair.  Ever since Roman Reigns beat Brock Lesnar to unify the WWE Championship and the Universal Championship. From that point on, WWE recognized Roman as having two Championship reigns. With the Universal Championship and with the WWE Championship. Same with Cody Rhodes when he beat Reigns for the Undisputed Championship at last year’s WresteMania. If you look at WWE’s website it shows two concurrent reigns for Cody.  If Cena beats Cody it’s always possible that WWE in the future recognizes this as one World Title reign instead of two. There’s a few of Flair’s reign...

Bobby Lashley Issues Warning to Jon Moxley

Bobby Lashley debuted in All Elite Wrestling on October 30th last year, rejoining his former WWE stablemates MVP and Shelton Benjamin, forming The Hurt Syndicate. Lashley and The Hurt Syndicate are one of the hottest acts in AEW right now with Lashley and Benjamin winning the World Tag Team Titles last month. It’s inevitable that Bobby Lashley will get a World Championship shot at some point. He’s very over right now and a legit main event talent.  Lashley gave a warning to AEW World Champion Jon Moxley when speaking to the Sporting Tribune . Lashley said it’s only a matter of time till they face off but he’s focused on his tag team right now. Lashley said that when Jon Moxley sees him in the locker room, he stays clear of him.  Despite being cheered like a babyface, Bobby Lashley is a heel and Jon Moxley is also a heel so I don’t see them facing off soon. But I like the idea of a Moxley/Lashley match whether it’s for the Title or not. Saying that, I’d also be a fan of Bo...
