Brian Pillman Jr Has Big Opportunity Coming Up

Brian Pillman Jr recently finished up with All Elite Wrestling. The second generation wrestler showed potential but was never able to live up to it in AEW. Now, the son of Brian Pillman is teasing a big opportunity in the future. “There is a lot to come. I can't speak on it right now. It's kind of in the works right now but I've got a huge moment, a huge opportunity coming up in my career to continue making memories, to continue coming up with new gear ideas, and sharing my version of pro wrestling with you all. Thank you for supporting me and today was a lot of fun.” Do you think this huge opportunity is a WWE run? That’s the speculation right now. I’m worried that he may crash and burn with WWE but the one thing that WWE has that AEW doesn’t in a developmental system. A multi-million dollar Performance Center which is training which wrestlers every day.  Comment down below your thoughts here or hit me up on Twitter!

Shawn Michaels Has Praise for Wes Lee

WWE Hall of Fame and NXT Lead of Creative, Shawn Michaels is giving high praise to WWE NXT North American Champion, Wes Lee. Wes Lee is the longest reigning North American Champion in NXT’s history and has faced a ton of adversity to get to this point.   Shawn was on the Sports Guys Talks Wrestling Show to promote NXT Great American Bash, which takes place on July 30th from Cedar Park, Texas. Shawn spoke about his time running NXT and how excited he is about the brand moving forward.  Shawn would go onto say this about Wes Lee.  "Wes Lee, to me, has just been unbelievable as North American champion. On a personal level, I just enjoy that young man so much. But everything that he's kind of overcome here in NXT over the last year and a half has just been phenomenal. He's been a great champion for us." Wes Lee’s NXT Tag Team Champion partner was released from WWE last year due to out of the ring reasons. Fans were fearful that remaining Rascal in WWE would get lost in th

England is the Perfect Place for Wrestlemania

The electrifying atmosphere, the roaring crowd, and the breathtaking spectacles that encapsulate WrestleMania—the grandest stage of them all. For decades, this prestigious event has traveled across North America, capturing the hearts of millions. However, the time has come for the United Kingdom, and specifically London, to shine as a potential host for WrestleMania. At Money in the Bank a couple of weeks ago, John Cena appeared in front of the live crowd at the O2 arena to tease a Wrestlemania in England.   In this blog, we'll explore why England, with its rich wrestling heritage and passionate fanbase, deserves to welcome WrestleMania to one of its iconic stadiums. A Legendary Wrestling History: England has a profound wrestling legacy that stretches back to the early days of the sport. From World of Sport to promotions like Progress Wrestling and Revolution Pro, the country has produced world-class talent and legendary matches. Hosting WrestleMania in London would pay homage to t

Would Trinity Ever Join Back Up With Mercedes Monè?

Trinity’s expressing interest in reuniting with her former WWE Tag Team Champion partner, Mercedes Monè. The former Naomi and Sasha Banks both departed WWE over the past year. Their now famous walkout proved to not be a work. Sasha Banks now going by Mercedes Monè debuted for New Japan Pro Wrestling earlier this year. While Naomi now going by her real first name Trinity made her Impact Wrestling debut in April.   Speaking to the New York Post, Trinity said that if something works for both of them in the future they’ll do it.  “I’ll always do what’s best for her, what’s best for me and what’s best for the business. If it’s something that comes up that makes sense for the both of us, hell yeah.” A lot of fans probably expected them to show up somewhere together at first. I thought Trinity would show up alongside Mercedes’ side in a matter of months. That didn’t happen. Instead, Trinity signed a deal with Impact Wrestling. Where she’s a big fish in a small pond. Impact does have a working

Kota Ibushi and Pac Announced for AEW Blood and Guts

Kota Ibushi was announced as the final member of the The Elite as they face The Blackpool Combat Club on next week’s Dynamite from Boston. Kota Ibushi joins The Elite to form the Golden Elite at Blood and Guts. They’ll be taking on the Blackpool Combat Club in Blood and Guts.   Kota Ibushi teams with Kenny Omega, “Hangman” Adam Page and The Young Bucks to take on the Blackpool Combat Club/Don Callis Family which added Pac as its final member. Pac teams up with Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, Konsuke Takeshita and Claudio Castagnoli.  What did you think of the announcements? I expected Kota Ibushi to be the final member of The Elite. But was pretty disappointed in Pac being the announced as the final BCC guy. I was hoping it would be someone like Chris Jericho. Or maybe an international star. Which Pac is but we’re so used to him at this point. I think he’ll do a great job in the match but was hoping the announcement would be bigger than Pac.  Give me your thoughts in the comments. Are you lo

AEW Spoiler: Who Advanced In The Owen Hart Tournament Semi-Final Women’s Match?

The finals are set for the finals of the Women’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament. Spoiler, Willow Nightingale beat Athena in the Rampage main event to advance to the finals against Ruby Soho. Soho moved on after beating Skye Blue in the semi-finals of the tournament on this week’s Dynamite.   They’ll square off on this Saturday’s Collision to determine the 2nd ever Women’s Owen Hart Cup winner. On the men’s side, we’ll see CM Punk take on Ricky Starks.  Who do you think is going to win the Owen Hart Cups? I think CM Punk has it locked up on the men’s side but I wouldn’t hate if Ricky gets the win if it means a bigger push for him. I think Willow will win the Women’s. She’s more of a home-grown talent than Ruby is and someone they feel is capable of big things.  Willow Nightingale is incredibly over. She’s attractive, she’s got a bubbliness about her. Always looks like she’s having the time of her life. She kind of reminds of NXT Bayley. And I say that as someone who saw the crowd reaction to

What’s Next for Brian Pillman Jr?

Brian Pillman Jr is reportedly finished with All Elite Wrestling. Fans noticed he’s been removed from the AEW roster page online. PWInsider confirms that Pillman Jr is finished up with the company for now but the door is open for a return.  I like Pillman Jr but could use some more developing and seasoning before becoming a polished product. It takes wrestlers years to become a full blown finished product. He’s shown flashes and I think his ability to tell a story is coming along. Although he has a ways to go technically. Although he can absolutely work on that.  I liked when he had that small feud with MJF. Pillman Jr clearly isn’t on his level but he doesn’t need to be. The son of a legendary wrestler that fans loved who was taken away too soon is a great story to tell. I didn’t think they fully capitalized on that.  Fans have also said they should have paired him more with Brock Anderson, the son of Arn. We saw it teased but never fully realized. Which is a shame because I think th

Damien Priest Wins Men’s Money in the Bank Match

At today’s Money in the Bank in London, Damien Priest won the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Priest beat out Logan Paul, Santos Escobar, Ricochet, Butch, LA Knight and Shinsuka Nakamura.  At the end of the match it was Priest and LA Knight at the top but Priest was able to send Knight crashing down. He unhooked the briefcase and will present us with some interesting television as he inches closer to World Championship Gold.  Big congrats to Damien Priest. Very well deserved!
