The Top 5 WWE ECW Champions

The WWE's version of ECW, which ran from 2006 to 2010, aimed to recapture the magic of the original Extreme Championship Wrestling. During its brief but impactful existence, several champions held the prestigious ECW title. In this blog, we'll dive into the debate over who the best WWE ECW Champion was during that era, looking at some of the standout titleholders and the legacies they left behind. 1. The Innovator of Violence: Tommy Dreamer When you think of the spirit of ECW, Tommy Dreamer's name inevitably comes to mind. Dreamer, an ECW original, captured the WWE ECW Championship in 2009, representing a bridge between the original promotion and WWE's reboot. His dedication to the "hardcore" style and his connection with the audience made him a sentimental favorite during his title reign. Dreamer's long journey to championship glory resonated with fans and solidified his status as an ECW legend. He’s a hardcore legend and has to be mentioned. 2. Chris

Looking Back at The Boogeyman's WWE Tenure

As Halloween creeps around the corner, it's the perfect time to reminisce about the darker, spookier side of professional wrestling. In the 2000s, amidst the high-flying acrobatics and intense drama, one character stood out as the embodiment of fear and horror: The Boogeyman. In this blog, we delve into the eerie world of The Boogeyman, exploring what made him one of the scariest wrestlers of the 2000s. Debuting in WWE in 2005, The Boogeyman was not your typical wrestler. Portrayed by Martin Wright, he personified the stuff of childhood nightmares. The character's origins were shrouded in mystery, but he was introduced as a supernatural force lurking in the shadows of the wrestling world. Wearing tattered clothes, with face paint, a clock around his neck, and his signature staff, The Boogeyman was a chilling presence. The Boogeyman's promos were a cacophony of cryptic messages and bizarre behaviors. He'd bite into live worms and recite menacing rhymes. His eerie antics

Do You Remember Global Force Wrestling? A Look into Their Brief Tenure

However, its journey was fraught with challenges, and the company ultimately failed to establish itself as a major player in the industry. In this blog, we'll explore the rise and fall of GFW and examine the reasons behind its downfall. Sammy Guevara Not Cleared to Wrestle on Dynamite This Week

Sammy Guevara announced on Twitter today that he isn’t cleared to wrestle on this week’s AEW Dynamite from Rosenberg, Texas. Guevara is from Houston, which is around 45 minutes away from Rosenberg. Guevara expressed his displeasure with not being able to wrestle in front of his home-town crowd.  The 3-Time TNT Champion still isn’t cleared from a concussion he suffered at WrestleDream earlier in the month. Guevara suffered the injury in the trios match in which he teamed up with Konosuke Takeshita and Will Ospreay to beat Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi.  As much as the fans may want to see Guevara, his health comes first and concussions are nothing to mess around with. I’d rather see him heal up, and then he’ll be able to wrestle the next time they come to the area.  Wishing the best to Sammy Guevara as he heals up from his injury.

Coffee, with its rich aroma and comforting warmth, has the power to bring people together from all walks of life. For Claudio Castagnoli, a professional wrestler renowned for his strength and agility, coffee isn't just a beverage; it's a source of inspiration and calm in a world that demands both strength and precision. In an exclusive interview with SI.Com's Justin Barasso, Claudio shared his deep appreciation for coffee and how it plays an essential role in his life, both in and out of the wrestling ring. Many people start drinking coffee at a young age, sipping their first cups as teenagers. Claudio Castagnoli, however, discovered the world of coffee a little later in life. He began enjoying coffee at the age of 27, which may seem late to some, but it was the perfect time for him. This late introduction allowed him to truly savor and appreciate the nuances of coffee without rushing into the coffee culture. For Claudio, one of the most beautiful aspects of coffee is its a
“The King of TV” Samoa Joe defends his Ring of Honor World Television Championship against Willie Mack on this Saturday’s AEW Collision. This will be Willie Mack’s second appearance on AEW programming, although he’s frequently on ROH TV. Samoa Joe on the other hand, looks to retain and get back on the path to AEW World Championship.  This Saturday’s Collision takes place from the Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio and this is the second Title match announced for the show.  If Samoa Joe retains on Saturday, it puts him closer to passing Jay Lethal’s record as ROH TV Champion. Carlito Is Officially Part of the Smackdown Roster

Carlito returned to WWE this past weekend at WWE Fastlane and he’s officially a Smackdown wrestler. Carlito helped the Latino World Order to defeat Bobby Lashley and the Street Profits. The LWO of course are on Smackdown so the move makes sense. This marks his second return to WWE this year, having previously coming back at Backlash from Puerto Rico.  WWE posted Carlito on their roster page, meaning the former Intercontinental Champion is officially back in the company on the blue brand.  I can’t wait to see what Carlito gets up to. I was a fan of his back in the day, and I love a good reunion. There’s a totally new crop of superstars since he was last there. From the likes of up and coming stars like Austin Theory and Grayson Waller to veterans he’s never squared off with like AJ Styles and Sheamus.  What do you think about Carlito being on Smackdown? I think it’s a good fit for him and I’m looking forward to seeing what he gets up to.
