Friday Night Smackdown kicks off from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada tonight. We could see some surprises as some of the roster can’t travel to the show. Maybe Brock Lesnar? I talked about that earlier here: I’ll be live reacting  here and live reacting here .  Ricochet and Madcap Moss starts the show off against Sami Zayn and Solo Sikoa. - 8:05 Zayn and Ricochet start us off. - 8:07 Madcap Moss tosses Ricochet off and into Zayn and Sikoa. Very nice spot as we go to commercial with Ricochet smiling. - 8:09  Back from the break with Sikoa and Ricochet in the ring. Sikoa has the advantage. - 8:14 Moss and Zayn both get tagged in and Moss bull rushes Sami Zayn. Moss has intensity, which is more than you can say about most of the roster. 8:16 Sami Zayn with a roll up on Moss and then a Blue Thunder Bomb for two quick outs in a row. - 8:17 Moss rolls throw a dive from Sami and gets him in a pin attempt that gets broken up by Solo Sikoa. 8:18 RIcochet jumps face first into a chair by Sikoa. - 8

Tony Khan announced on Twitter that Warner Brothers Discovery has allowed AEW an additional 15 minutes for Dynamite next week. Now when Excalibur says that the match can go beyond TV time, he’ll mean it.  It’s to celebrate 3 years of Dynamite and hopefully it means a great match to close out the show. If I were booking it, I’d have Hangman Page wrestle Darby Allin for the first time ever. Darby’s already facing Jay Lethal but that could change. Why these guys? They’re two AEW originals and the extra 15 minutes should be to focus on guys they’re trying to build.  Could you imagine a 35 minute back and forth contest between Allin and Page? The winner? There isn’t one. Sets up Allin and Page at Full Gear and gives them both a program to sink their teeth into. I just booked a really good program for you, Tony.   I’m just asking questions here, but could Brock Lesnar appear on tonight’s Smackdown? It takes place in Winnipeg, which isn’t too far from his farm in Saskatchewan. Weather is impacting travel to tonight’s show for Florida wrestlers. With not much announced and a lot of uncertainty going in, could we see the Beast Brock Lesnar come back tonight?  He’s  reportedly  going to be at Crown Jewel, which takes place in just over a month. It would make sense for him to come in and surprise the WWE Universe and give us a reason to watch Smackdown.  I released this new shirt  here  because I’ve been seeing a ton of white rabbits in my life as of late.  Follow along with live coverage on the website and on  Twitter . 

Hurricane Ian is causing damage in the United States and is impacting the wrestling world one show at a time. Many flights have been canceled or delayed and events like Ocean’s Calling Festival have been postponed. On Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, several wrestlers missed the show because they couldn’t travel to the show. It looks like it’ll be affecting Smackdown tonight as well.  Many wrestlers live in Orlando due to the excellent weather, no property tax and WWE’s training grounds being close by. Florida is being walloped by this hurricane and some wrestlers will not be making the flight to Smackdown in Canada tonight.  I’m trying to find updates on this weather and what specifically will be changing. Could Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson aka The Good Brothers return to WWE for another WWE run? They just finished up with Impact Wrestling and are set to do a tour of New Japan so they are free agents in the States. The pair was surprisingly cut by WWE during the start of the Covid-19 Pandemic. They had just finished up a program with OC stablemate, AJ Styles taking on the Undertaker at Wrestlemania in the main event of Night 1 before they were released. They were the most notable of the cuts because of their position on the card and their friendship with top stars AJ Styles and Finn Balor. They four were part of the Bullet Club, the once hugely popular stable in NJPW.  On Monday’s WWE Raw we saw Finn Balor trying to recruit AJ into his current group, the Judgement Day. AJ rejected Balor’s recruitment attempts and Balor said that AJ is totally alone. Balor and The Judgement Day, including Dominik Mysterio beat up AJ Styles after costing him his match against Sami Zayn. There was no help

Tonight’s WWE Smackdown could be a wild one. There’s reports that the effects of Hurricane Ian may affect wrestlers travelling to tonight’s show in Canada. There’s reports that they’re very worried about the show. As of 10:45 AM nothing has been announced in regards to wrestlers’ status for tonight’s show. I’ll be providing updates on here and Twitter as we learn more. WWE has announced the following matches: Shotzi Blackheart vs Bayley Hit Row vs Los Lotharios  Ricochet & Madcap Moss vs Sami Zayn & Solo Sikoa As always, they’re subject to change. I went to All Elite Wrestling’s Buffalo debut three weeks ago . After not thinking I would go to either AEW show that’s in proximity to me. Those being in Toronto and Buffalo. I casually looked at tickets and went on StubHub a few times. I found the Toronto shoes but assumed Buffalo was sold out (boy, was I wrong about that) because I couldn’t find any tickets. The cheapest tickets on the resale market for the Toronto shows at Coca Cola are around $120 CAD for Rampage and $200 for Dynamite. I balked at that. I price myself out at a certain point and that much for nose bleeds didn’t have me jumping to buy a ticket.  All Out took place on the Sunday before the show I went to. After watching the post-show media scrum and refreshing Twitter religiously over the next 24 hours I realized something. AEW’s next show is in Buffalo. Sure, my favourite wrestler CM Punk was rumoured to not be there because of what happened after All Out but it’s still live wrestling. I’ve also been itching to hop

Candice LeRae is back in WWE. She hasn’t been seen since last year. She’s been away on maternity leave for the child she had with her husband and fellow Raw wrestler, Johnny Gargano.  She adds to an already strong Raw women’s division.
