Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson Returning to WWE?

Could Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson aka The Good Brothers return to WWE for another WWE run? They just finished up with Impact Wrestling and are set to do a tour of New Japan so they are free agents in the States. The pair was surprisingly cut by WWE during the start of the Covid-19 Pandemic.

They had just finished up a program with OC stablemate, AJ Styles taking on the Undertaker at Wrestlemania in the main event of Night 1 before they were released. They were the most notable of the cuts because of their position on the card and their friendship with top stars AJ Styles and Finn Balor. They four were part of the Bullet Club, the once hugely popular stable in NJPW.

On Monday’s WWE Raw we saw Finn Balor trying to recruit AJ into his current group, the Judgement Day. AJ rejected Balor’s recruitment attempts and Balor said that AJ is totally alone. Balor and The Judgement Day, including Dominik Mysterio beat up AJ Styles after costing him his match against Sami Zayn. There was no help for AJ. No run in’s down isle the isle, no music. Nothing. Just the former WWE Champion lying in the middle of the ring with a chair around his neck. What if this is leading to the return of the Gallows and Anderson?

They come back to help AJ Styles, turn Finn back to the light side and then AJ, Finn and the Good Brothers take down the Judgement Day. From there, why not have them take on The Bloodline at Survivor Series in War Games? War Games is a 4-on-4 match. Balor, AJ, Gallows and Anderson against Roman Reigns, The Uso’s and Solo Sikoa has some oomf to it. It’s only 2 months away but you have 3 big shows to work with. Extreme Rules, Crown Jewel and Survivor Series.

Let me know if you’d like to see them return to New York. Let me know what you think of my scenario bringing them back as well.

Book This Episode 1: The Summer of Punk Rebooked Prelude

Let’s go back to 2011, specifically June of 2011. CM Punk’s contract is expiring soon and he’s getting ready to have the biggest run of his career. On June 27th, 2011 CM Punk would cut a promo that would have the wrestling world buzzing for years to come. In his promo, Punk said that his contract expired next month and that he, the Number One Contender, would be leaving  WWE with the WWE Championship. He’d also go onto take shots at not only his opponent the following month, John Cena but other icons in the history of WWE. Whether employed by the company or not. He’d also tease defending his WWE Championship in Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling. Essentially he’d be a travelling World Champion, ala the territory days. Well, CM Punk did win the WWE Championship the next month from John Cena at Money in the Bank. However, what would happen after would disappoint wrestling fans more than anything else that’s happened in years.       How they bungled this storyline, I’m not ent

The State of Professional Wrestling - 11-29-21

I have a lot of thoughts on the state of professional wrestling in 2021. I think it’s great that AEW is around now and that they’re presenting a great product. I think WWE has the potential not be really boring but I think the consensus is that most of the time it’s just a really boring show. I cannot tell you the last time I sat through a 3 hour Raw. Oh wait, yes I can. September, 9th, 2013 and that’s only because I was at the damn show.       WWE has a problem with stagnation. The product continually feels the same and I think there’s an obvious reason for that. WWE is too scripted. I think there’s a noticeable difference in the presentation between WWE and AEW. AEW feels like a legitimate sports show and WWE feels like broadway theatre without the music. I don’t think it’s a problem with the talent. When you go top-down, guys like Roman Reigns, Big E, Brock Lesnar, Edge, Bobby Lashley, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, Finn Balor, Jeff Hardy and Kevin Owens are all main event players.

Several AEW Releases Reported

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported on Monday that announcer Dasha Kuret, Stu Grayson, Jose the Assistant, Jora Johl, Gravity, Slim J, and Parker Boudreaux have been cut from the roster. PWInsider additionally reported that The Boys (Brandon and Brent Tate) and Anthony Henry have also been released.   We have word on several All Elite Wrestling releases. On Monday, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported Dasha Kuret, Stu Grayson, Jose the Assistant, Jora Johl, Gravity, Slim J and Parker Boudreaux have been released.  In addition to Sean’s announcements, PWInsider reported the release of The Boys (Brandon and Brent Tate) and Anthony Henry. PWInsider also notes that AEW is "evaluating their talent roster and making cuts to benefit both the company and the talents."  This is the second time Stu Grayson has been released from the company. Maybe the third time in the future will be the charm.  I wonder what happens to Parker Boudreaux. He has the look of a future World Heavyweight Cha
