NEW WWE Smackdown's Champion

We have a new WWE Smackdown's Champion in Charlotte Flair. This is the biggest news to come out of the show tonight, in what was an eventful Smackdown. After Ronda Rousey beat Raquel Rodriguez to retain her Title, Charlotte came out to challenge for the Belt. Instead of the match happening at the Royal Rumble it took place last night. This is the 14th Women's Title reign on the main roster for Charlotte and she seems to be following right in her father's footsteps. Fans online have been pretty negative on this. Do you agree with the move or are you with the majority fans? I don't hate it. People were Tweeting #FireRonda every week so I'm not sure why they're not a big fan of this move. When you look at the rather weak Smackdown's women's roster, Charlotte is a welcome addition back.  What do you think about Charlotte returning to the company? Follow along on Twitter for more.

Road Dogg Pitched WHAT?! For Dexter Lumis?

On Road Dog’s Oh You Didn’t Know Podcast, he talked about a paranormal idea he pitched for Dexter Lumis.  “I wanted him to be from Skinwalker Ranch. There’s a show called Skinwalker Ranch and there’s a place called Skinwalker Ranch, and the truth about Skinwalker Ranch is that there’s a bunch of paranormal activity that happens out there, or [at least] it’s reported. A lot of UFO sightings, a lot of cow mutilations, a lot of stuff. The show had just come on and I had just started watching it. I was like ‘Oh man, show is cool.’ …[Hunter] just buried it straight away and [now] he’s from somewhere [else].” I think that idea sucks and it’s obvious that Triple H agrees. I’ve seen fans online bury this idea as well and understandably. I’d rather have a wrestler talk about conspiracies or aliens instead of being one.  I think Dexter Lumis should just be a rip off Dexter (Michael C Hall’s character) and that’s it. He did that in TNA and in NXT and it’s worked fine for him.  There’s a reason Ro

FTR Losing AAA Titles Another Sign of WWE Return?

Yesterday at AAA’s Nacho De Campeones FTR (formerly known as The Revival in WWE) dropped the AAA World Tag Team titles to Dragon Lee and Dragón Lee (also known as "The Dragon Brothers"). This marks the end of FTR's reign as AAA World Tag Team Champions, which began in October 2021 when they defeated The Lucha Bros for the Titles on AEW Dynamite.  There has been speculation that FTR losing their titles is due to their potential return to WWE. It has been rumored that FTR is set to feud with The Usos upon their return to WWE, and it seems that their return to WWE is imminent given their departure from AAA and potentially AEW.  FTR had a successful run in AAA, holding the tag team titles for over a year and establishing themselves as top contenders in the tag team division. They faced strong competition from the likes of The Young Bucks and The Lucha Brothers. In their final match as AAA World Tag Team Champions, FTR put on a strong showing against Dragon Lee and Dragón Lee,

WATCH WWE NEVER BEFORE SEEN Match: Roman Reigns vs Baron Corbin

WWE’s YouTube page released a never before seen non-televised dark match. Well I shouldn’t say never before seen. If you were in attendance that night, you would have seen it. See Roman Reigns take on Baron Corbin before he would become the Tribal Chief. Let me know your thoughts on the dark match. I thought it was alright but it’s cool that WWE threw it up on YouTube.  Would you like to see WWE do that more often with their dark matches? Especially some of the better matches with interesting finishes. Wrestlers are no stranger to putting something a bit extra special in for the live audience.  Follow along on Twitter and keep it locked here. Cheers!

BIG Spoiler for AEW Rampage on Friday

AEW Rampage has a new man on the booth. During last night’s Rampage taping, Paul Wight came out for commentary. It was announced he’ll be a permanent fixture of the announce team for the Friday night show.   Get it? BIG spoiler. Because he used to go by the Big Show. Right guys? I don’t hate the move. I think Paul Wight adds value to whatever company he’s in. It felt like they’ve been missing out on a massive opportunity to showcase the legendary giant.  While the former Big Show may not be able to go in the ring like he used to, he can still be used to build programs. I think putting him on Rampage is a fine move but I’d move him into a managerial role.  What are your thoughts on Paul Wight joining the Rampage commentary team? Follow me on Twitter for more!

Tony Khan Says AEW Won’t Suffer the Same Fate as WCW

In a recent interview with the Grapsody Podcast, Tony Khan, the President and CEO of All Elite Wrestling (AEW), addressed the possibility of AEW going out of business like World Championship Wrestling (WCW) did in 2001. Khan emphasized that AEW is a "family business" and is not owned by a network or media property, unlike WCW. He also stated that he is committed to the wrestling industry and is not going anywhere. Khan's comments come as a reassurance to fans of AEW, who may have been concerned about the future of the promotion. WCW was a major player in the wrestling industry for many years, but ultimately went out of business due to a variety of factors, including financial issues and poor management decisions. However, Khan assured listeners that AEW is in a much different position and is not facing the same challenges that WCW did. He emphasized that AEW is a strong and stable company that is built on a foundation of passion and love for wrestling. Overall, Khan'

Dragon Lee Signing With WWE is Bad for AEW

Last night at AAA’s AAA Noche de Campeones, Dragon Lee and his brother Dralistico beat FTR for the AAA World Tag Team Titles. The big news is that Dragon Lee announced his signing with WWE after the match. He vacated the Tag Team Titles after winning them with his brother.   Many fans and industry insiders had speculated that Dragon Lee would be a great asset for AEW. His other brother, AEW star RUSH signed with AEW full time recently. It’s been speculated that Dragon Lee would be joining his big brother.    And his decision to join WWE instead is seen as a potential blow to their rival promotion.  Dragon Lee, is a Mexican professional wrestler who has made a name for himself in the world of Lucha Libre. He is a former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion and a two-time CMLL World Lightweight Champion amongst other accolades.  He made himself known to American audiences when wrestling for Ring of Honor. In ROH, he won the TV Title and Tag Team Titles. His high-flying, high-energy style has

Could We See Alex Riley Come Back to Wrestling Full Time?

Wrestling fans were treated to a surprise at Create a Pro's Holiday Toy Drive event when former WWE Superstar Alex Riley made a one-off appearance for the promotion/training school. Teaming up with NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Tyrus, Riley helped defeat Jack Tomlinson and Dante Drago in a tag team match. While it's not clear if this appearance will lead to a full-time return to the ring for Riley, it's clear that he still has the skills and talent to make an impact in the wrestling world. Despite being a little rusty after a long absence from the ring, Riley was able to utilize his size and strength to overpower his opponents and put on a strong performance. Riley appeared  on ‘The Tyrus and Timpf Podcast’ , where he spoke about the match:  “I clearly had some rust on me and I wanted to be in a little bit better shape but I was grateful to be out there man and I was really grateful to be in front of people and God bless you [Tyrus] for walking out there with me man. It w

What if The Rock Wrestlers the Former Superman at Wrestlemania 39?

What if The Rock adds another big match to his resume in the ring at Wrestlemania 39. What if he faced fellow actor Henry Cavill? It would be a highly anticipated match at the upcoming wrestling event. Cavill has never wrestled before. It could be a great opportunity to build hype between the actors for their careers.  The prospect of these two Hollywood heavyweights going head-to-head in the ring is sure to be a must-see event for wrestling fans, especially given the history between the two actors. According to reports, The Rock was reportedly responsible for Cavill no longer playing Superman in the DC Cinematic Universe, making this potential match all the more interesting. It's worth noting that there has been no official confirmation from either The Rock or Cavill regarding this rumored match, and it remains to be seen whether or not it will actually come to fruition. However, the idea of these two action stars facing off in the ring is definitely an exciting one, and fans of b

Could Vince McMahon Become United States Vice President?

It’s crazy we’re  already talking about the next presidential election, but with the current political climate being what it is, it's no surprise that speculation is running rampant. One idea I think would be entertaining and hilarious is Donald Trump choosing Vince McMahon, the former Chairman of WWE, as his running mate in the next election. While this may seem like a far-fetched idea at first, it's important to remember that Trump has a history with McMahon. The two men have known each other for years, and Trump even made an appearance at WWE's WrestleMania 23 event in 2007, where he famously "body slammed" McMahon in a wrestling match. So, could McMahon really be a viable running mate for Trump? It's definitely possible, but it would be a risky move for both men. For one thing, McMahon is not a politician by any stretch of the imagination. While he has plenty of experience running a successful business, it's unclear how he would fare on the campaign tr

Goldberg Reportedly Still a Free Agent

It's been the talk of the wrestling world for the past several months : will Goldberg be signing a new contract with WWE? According to sources close to the situation, the answer seems to be no. According to Fightful Select, a website that covers wrestling news and rumors, they have not heard anything about Goldberg signing a new deal with WWE. This news will likely come as a surprise to many fans, as Goldberg has been a mainstay in WWE for the past several years. So what does this mean for the future of Goldberg in WWE? It's hard to say at this point, as negotiations between wrestlers and the company are often kept private. However, it's possible that Goldberg may be looking to explore other opportunities outside of WWE. The last time we saw Goldberg wrestle was in Saudi Arabia against Roman Reigns earlier in the year. The former undefeated WCW star made his return to WWE in late 2016 and has been a welcome addition to the roster. Say what you want about Bill Goldberg, h

Is AEW a Tony Khan Vanity Project? Eric Bischoff May

Eric Bischoff is in the wrestling news stratosphere again. This time because he’s calling All Elite Wrestling a vanity project for Tony Khan. He was on his 83 Weeks podcast and questioned AEW for being a “vanity project”.  “I think, you know, obvious things that make me think it is [a vanity project], is some of the things that Tony has come out and said I think Tony is, to a degree, living a childhood dream, and there’s nothing wrong with that if you have the ability to do it, provided that you’re looking beyond just your own satisfaction of being in a business that you’ve always been a fan of since you were a little kid.” So what if it’s a vanity project? Tony Khan and his family have tons of money. More than enough to keep this going for the next 20 years with a great roster. While I criticize AEW from time to time, it’s a place that’s getting wrestlers paid good money to work TV.  Tony Khan brought Sting out of retirement. He brought CM Punk out of retirement. Tony recently brough
