AEW Dynamite Preview: December 28th, 2022 - ELITE vs DEATH TRIANGLE


Tonight's AEW Dynamite is shaping up to be an exciting night of wrestling, with several highly anticipated matches on the card. The following has been announced for the sure. 


Ruby Soho & Willow Nightingale vs. Tay Melo and Anna Jay A.S.: This match will pit two talented tag teams against each other in a highly competitive matchup. Both teams have been performing well in recent weeks and will be looking to make a statement with a win tonight.


The Elite vs. Death Triangle no DQ in match six of the best-of-seven for the AEW Trios titles: This match will be the sixth in a series of seven matches for the AEW Trios titles. Death Triangle are currently leading the series 3-2, but The Elite will be looking to even the score with a win tonight. With no disqualifications allowed, this match is sure to be intense and high-stakes.


Top Flight vs. Claudio Castagnoli & Jon Moxley: This match will pit the up-and-coming tag team of Top Flight against the veteran team of Castagnoli and Moxley. Top Flight have been impressing fans with their high-flying moves, but they will have their work cut out for them against the experienced Castagnoli and Moxley. 


Ethan Page vs. Bryan Danielson: This match will see two talented wrestlers square off in the ring. Page has been on a roll as of late, but Danielson is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time and will surely bring his A-game to this match.


TNT Champion Samoa Joe defends against Wardlow: Samoa Joe will defend his TNT Championship against Wardlow. Joe has been a dominant champion so far, but Wardlow is a formidable challenger and will be looking to regain the Title he wasn’t pinned for. 


Overall, tonight's AEW Dynamite is shaping up to be an exciting night of wrestling with several highly competitive and exciting matches on the card. Be sure to tune in to see all of the action unfold.

     Let’s go back to 2011, specifically June of 2011. CM Punk’s contract is expiring soon and he’s getting ready to have the biggest run of his career. On June 27th, 2011 CM Punk would cut a promo that would have the wrestling world buzzing for years to come. The State of Professional Wrestling - 11-29-21

     I have a lot of thoughts on the state of professional wrestling in 2021. I think it’s great that AEW is around now and that they’re presenting a great product. I think WWE has the potential not be really boring but I think the consensus is that most of the time it’s just a really boring show. I cannot tell you the last time I sat through a 3 hour Raw. Oh wait, yes I can. September, 9th, 2013 and that’s only because I was at the damn show.       WWE has a problem with stagnation. The product continually feels the same and I think there’s an obvious reason for that. WWE is too scripted. I think there’s a noticeable difference in the presentation between WWE and AEW. AEW feels like a legitimate sports show and WWE feels like broadway theatre without the music. I don’t think it’s a problem with the talent. When you go top-down, guys like Roman Reigns, Big E, Brock Lesnar, Edge, Bobby Lashley, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, Finn Balor, Jeff Hardy and Kevin Owens are all main event players.

Several AEW Releases Reported

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported on Monday that announcer Dasha Kuret, Stu Grayson, Jose the Assistant, Jora Johl, Gravity, Slim J, and Parker Boudreaux have been cut from the roster. PWInsider additionally reported that The Boys (Brandon and Brent Tate) and Anthony Henry have also been released.   We have word on several All Elite Wrestling releases. On Monday, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported Dasha Kuret, Stu Grayson, Jose the Assistant, Jora Johl, Gravity, Slim J and Parker Boudreaux have been released.  In addition to Sean’s announcements, PWInsider reported the release of The Boys (Brandon and Brent Tate) and Anthony Henry. PWInsider also notes that AEW is "evaluating their talent roster and making cuts to benefit both the company and the talents."  This is the second time Stu Grayson has been released from the company. Maybe the third time in the future will be the charm.  I wonder what happens to Parker Boudreaux. He has the look of a future World Heavyweight Cha
