CM Punk Gives Injury Update to Crowd

After Raw last night, Mr. Cult of Personality himself, CM Punk showed up to cut a promo in front of the live crowd. Raw was in Anaheim, California and the injured CM Punk wanted to give the fans an update on his status.  “It is not easy sitting backstage, watching the show, knowing that Anaheim showed up 11,000-strong, and y’all kept it hot all night long. Three hours, countless superstars, awesome matches. I had to come out here and feel this myself, and to let you all know, this is a bump in the road. I promise you that next time we are in Anaheim, I will be here, and I will have my boots on,” Punk said to the capacity crowd at the Honda Center.  It’s reassuring to know that despite the triceps injury that he suffered, he’ll be back in due time. As much as Cody Rhodes wants to finish his story, CM Punk wants to finish his.  It’s cool that Punk cut a promo in front of the live crowd but I’d love to see him on Raw or Smackdown every week. Even in an announcer role. Or give him

Will You Be Watching WWE Elimination Chamber at 5AM?

Will you be watching WWE Elimination Chamber this Saturday? The event starts at 6PM Australian Time, which is 5AM Eastern Time. That means that I’ll be up covering this show at 5 in the morning. I’ll be drinking a ton of coffee and probably hitting the snooze a few times.  Do you like that WWE is doing these international PLEs/PPVs? I’m not a big fan of waking up that early but it is better than waking up at 2am like if you’re in the Pacific Timezone. If you’re living on the west-coast, that is absolutely brutal.

Matt Reveals He's Talked With TNA Wrestling

Where could we see Matt Riddle show up next? We've seen him show up in Major League Wrestling as well as New Japan Pro Wrestling? Could we see him show up in TNA? The former WWE United States Champion spoke to Sunday Night's Main Event and revealed that he's spoken to TNA Wrestling.  Matt Riddle said:  "So, after the 90 days and during the 90 days I was setting some dates up. And I talked to some places, I've talked to TNA, I work with New Japan, I talked with MLW and we do film for TV but it's not the same as Monday Night Raw. Three hours live, anything can happen, people are changing the script here and there, hey you have ten minutes for your match, now you have five minutes... it's extremely stressful.  Now, I like the pressure but at the same time, I kind of wanted a little break from all that. So that kind of shows where I'm working now. I'm choosing places that are more pay-per-view based where I don't have to worry about going to a com

Looking Back at the Memorable Run of Team 3D in TNA

In the world of professional wrestling, few tag teams have left as significant a mark as the Dudley Boys. Renowned for their dominance in the ring and their unparalleled ability to captivate audiences, the Dudley Boys, also known as Team 3D, made a monumental impact during their tenure in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). When the Dudley Boys made their debut in TNA in 2005, it was a game-changer for the promotion. Coming off a storied career in other wrestling organizations, including WWE and ECW, the team of Bubba Ray Dudley (also known as Bully Ray) and D-Von Dudley brought with them a wealth of experience and a reputation for excellence. From the moment they stepped foot in the Impact Zone, the Dudley Boys asserted their dominance in the tag team division. Their blend of power, athleticism, and sheer intimidation made them formidable opponents for any team brave enough to step into the ring with them. They captured the TNA World Tag Team Championships multiple times, solidifyin

Bruce Prichard Comments on Vince McMahon Allegations

One of Vince McMahon's right hand men Bruce Prichard is speaking on the recent lawsuit against his former boss. On Prichard's Something to Wrestle With Bruce Prichard podcast he addressed the elephant in the room. The lawsuit that accuses his former boss of many years, Vince McMahon of "depraved" acts.  Prichard would say:  "As far as lawsuits and things of that nature, I’m not at liberty to discuss any legal matter with the company whatsoever,” he said. “So to that, there’s nothing that I can say, so there can’t be a response from a legal standpoint. I’m not involved. I’m not being sued, I’m not accused of anything. It’s a legal matter...and sometimes it’s as simple as for those that believe, an explanation is needed and for those that don’t, no explanation will do. That’s kind of where we are, let the rest of it sit in the hands of the fine legal system we have here in the United States of America.”  Bruce Prichard isn't saying much on the matter and I can&

Looking Back at King Booker's Run

In the world of professional wrestling, character transformations are not uncommon. However, few have been as regal and well-received as Booker T's metamorphosis into King Booker in 2006. The charismatic and talented wrestler took a bold step in redefining his persona, creating a character that would leave a lasting impact on the wrestling community. Before the transformation, Booker T had already established himself as a prominent figure in the wrestling world. He had achieved success in major wrestling promotions, including WCW and WWE, as part of the tag team Harlem Heat and as a singles competitor. However, by 2006, it was time for a change. Booker T's transition to King Booker began after winning the 2006 King of the Ring tournament. This victory opened the door to a royal transformation that would elevate him to new heights within the WWE universe.  The crowning moment of this transformation occurred at the Great American Bash pay-per-view in July 2006.
