AEW Expected to Announce Massive Deal With Warner Bros Discovery Today

Today could mark a significant turning point for All Elite Wrestling (AEW) as rumours circulate about a groundbreaking deal that could reshape the landscape of professional wrestling. According to wrestling journalist Wade Keller, AEW's alleged agreement with Warner Bros Discovery for their streaming and TV rights is said to be worth a staggering 1.2 billion dollars over a span of five years. If this rumour holds true, it would undoubtedly be a game-changer for AEW, solidifying their position as the number two wrestling promotion and opening up a world of opportunities for their continued growth and success.

Over the past few years, AEW has made waves in the wrestling industry, capturing the attention of fans with its innovative approach, fresh talent, and high-energy events. Their rise has been nothing short of extraordinary, challenging the long-standing dominance of established promotions. With a roster that combines renowned veterans and promising newcomers, AEW has quickly become a force to be reckoned with.

If the reported deal with Warner Bros Discovery materializes, it would represent a seismic shift in the wrestling landscape. The massive financial investment signifies a resounding vote of confidence in AEW's vision, potential, and marketability. Such a substantial partnership would not only provide AEW with the resources to expand their reach but also solidify their status as a major player in the industry.

Beyond the immediate financial implications, the deal would open doors for AEW in terms of exposure and distribution. Warner Bros Discovery is a media powerhouse with an extensive network and a global reach. Their platforms, including streaming services and TV channels, would provide AEW with a wider audience, ensuring that their brand reaches wrestling enthusiasts around the world. This increased visibility could result in heightened fan engagement, potential cross-promotional opportunities, and enhanced sponsorship deals.

Furthermore, a partnership with Warner Bros Discovery would grant AEW access to valuable resources and expertise. Collaborating with a media conglomerate of this magnitude would provide AEW with guidance, support, and opportunities for further collaboration. The synergy between the two entities could lead to innovative ventures, such as merchandise partnerships, live event collaborations, and expanded media content.

In the grand scheme of things, this rumoured deal represents a significant milestone for AEW as they strive to challenge the wrestling status quo. It signifies the recognition of their achievements and potential, and it empowers them to push boundaries and continue blazing their own trail. As AEW solidifies their position as the number two wrestling promotion, fans can expect even more thrilling matches, captivating storylines, and opportunities for rising stars to shine on a grand stage.

However, it's important to approach these rumours with cautious optimism. While Wade Keller's report is highly regarded, until an official announcement is made, we must treat this news as speculative. The wrestling world is no stranger to rumours, and deals of this magnitude often go through a series of negotiations and finalizations. Nonetheless, the mere possibility of such a groundbreaking agreement sends ripples of excitement and anticipation throughout the industry.

As we eagerly await confirmation of this potential game-changing deal, one thing is certain: AEW's trajectory is undeniably ascending. Their commitment to providing a fresh, fan-centric product has resonated with audiences, and this rumoured partnership could catapult them even further. The future of AEW is brighter than ever, and wrestling enthusiasts around the world can't help but speculate about the endless possibilities that lie ahead.

Book This Episode 1: The Summer of Punk Rebooked Prelude

Let’s go back to 2011, specifically June of 2011. CM Punk’s contract is expiring soon and he’s getting ready to have the biggest run of his career. On June 27th, 2011 CM Punk would cut a promo that would have the wrestling world buzzing for years to come. In his promo, Punk said that his contract expired next month and that he, the Number One Contender, would be leaving  WWE with the WWE Championship. He’d also go onto take shots at not only his opponent the following month, John Cena but other icons in the history of WWE. Whether employed by the company or not. He’d also tease defending his WWE Championship in Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling. Essentially he’d be a travelling World Champion, ala the territory days. Well, CM Punk did win the WWE Championship the next month from John Cena at Money in the Bank. However, what would happen after would disappoint wrestling fans more than anything else that’s happened in years.       How t...

If John Cena Beats Cody Rhodes he Technically Becomes an 18-Time World Champion

John Cena won the Elimination Chamber on Saturday night and secured an Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania this April. What followed was a shocking heel turn that fans have wanted for years. That’s not what I’m talking about here. We’re talking about how John Cena will technically become an 18-time World Champion if he beats Cody Rhodes. That would put him two ahead of Ric Flair.  Ever since Roman Reigns beat Brock Lesnar to unify the WWE Championship and the Universal Championship. From that point on, WWE recognized Roman as having two Championship reigns. With the Universal Championship and with the WWE Championship. Same with Cody Rhodes when he beat Reigns for the Undisputed Championship at last year’s WresteMania. If you look at WWE’s website it shows two concurrent reigns for Cody.  If Cena beats Cody it’s always possible that WWE in the future recognizes this as one World Title reign instead of two. There’s a few of Flair’s reign...

Bobby Lashley Issues Warning to Jon Moxley

Bobby Lashley debuted in All Elite Wrestling on October 30th last year, rejoining his former WWE stablemates MVP and Shelton Benjamin, forming The Hurt Syndicate. Lashley and The Hurt Syndicate are one of the hottest acts in AEW right now with Lashley and Benjamin winning the World Tag Team Titles last month. It’s inevitable that Bobby Lashley will get a World Championship shot at some point. He’s very over right now and a legit main event talent.  Lashley gave a warning to AEW World Champion Jon Moxley when speaking to the Sporting Tribune . Lashley said it’s only a matter of time till they face off but he’s focused on his tag team right now. Lashley said that when Jon Moxley sees him in the locker room, he stays clear of him.  Despite being cheered like a babyface, Bobby Lashley is a heel and Jon Moxley is also a heel so I don’t see them facing off soon. But I like the idea of a Moxley/Lashley match whether it’s for the Title or not. Saying that, I’d also be a fan of Bo...
