UFC Announces Huge Training Facility in Mexico

The UFC has made a big announcement that will have a significant impact on the world of mixed martial arts (MMA). The organization has revealed plans to open a brand-new, 32,000-square-foot MMA training facility in Mexico City later this year. This multimillion-dollar project is expected to be a game-changer for MMA, providing world-class training and resources to athletes from Latin America and beyond.

According to UFC President Dana White, "Some of the greatest athletes in combat sports history have come from Mexico." He believes that by making training and resources available in the country, Mexico has the potential to become one of the greatest sources of MMA talent in the world. This new facility will provide a platform for athletes to develop their skills and reach their full potential, making a positive impact on the sport of MMA as a whole.

This new training facility in Mexico City will be the third of its kind. The first UFC Performance Institute opened in Las Vegas in 2017, and it has become a hub for top-level MMA training. The facility in Mexico City will be of a similar size and offer similar resources, allowing athletes from Latin America to receive the same high-quality training as their counterparts in Las Vegas.

The UFC's investment in a new training facility in Mexico City is a clear indication of the organization's commitment to promoting the growth and development of MMA in Latin America. With the new facility, the UFC is providing a unique opportunity for athletes in the region to receive top-notch training and become the next generation of MMA superstars.

The UFC's new training facility in Mexico City is a major step forward for MMA. It will provide athletes from Latin America with the resources and training they need to reach their full potential, helping to shape the future of the sport. We can't wait to see what new talent will emerge from this exciting project in the coming years.

Book This Episode 1: The Summer of Punk Rebooked Prelude

Let’s go back to 2011, specifically June of 2011. CM Punk’s contract is expiring soon and he’s getting ready to have the biggest run of his career. On June 27th, 2011 CM Punk would cut a promo that would have the wrestling world buzzing for years to come. In his promo, Punk said that his contract expired next month and that he, the Number One Contender, would be leaving  WWE with the WWE Championship. He’d also go onto take shots at not only his opponent the following month, John Cena but other icons in the history of WWE. Whether employed by the company or not. He’d also tease defending his WWE Championship in Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling. Essentially he’d be a travelling World Champion, ala the territory days. Well, CM Punk did win the WWE Championship the next month from John Cena at Money in the Bank. However, what would happen after would disappoint wrestling fans more than anything else that’s happened in years.       How t...

I'm thrilled for him to be in the spot that he's in. Something tells me this won't be the last time he holds gold in WWE.

If John Cena Beats Cody Rhodes he Technically Becomes an 18-Time World Champion

John Cena won the Elimination Chamber on Saturday night and secured an Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania this April. What followed was a shocking heel turn that fans have wanted for years. That’s not what I’m talking about here. We’re talking about how John Cena will technically become an 18-time World Champion if he beats Cody Rhodes. That would put him two ahead of Ric Flair.  Ever since Roman Reigns beat Brock Lesnar to unify the WWE Championship and the Universal Championship. From that point on, WWE recognized Roman as having two Championship reigns. With the Universal Championship and with the WWE Championship. Same with Cody Rhodes when he beat Reigns for the Undisputed Championship at last year’s WresteMania. If you look at WWE’s website it shows two concurrent reigns for Cody.  If Cena beats Cody it’s always possible that WWE in the future recognizes this as one World Title reign instead of two. There’s a few of Flair’s reign...
