Kevin Owens Gives His Thoughts on Potential WWE Sale

In a recent interview with the San Antonio Express-News, WWE Superstar Kevin Owens shared his thoughts on the potential sale of the company.

When asked about the rumors of a sale, Owens stated, "The internet will say what the internet will say, and then the reality will be what really matters. We just care about what we do in the ring. That’s what we try to do our best at."

It's clear from Owens' statement that he is not concerned with the rumors and speculation surrounding a potential sale of the company. Instead, he is focused on his performance in the ring and putting on the best show possible for the fans.

This mindset is not uncommon among professional wrestlers, who are often known for their dedication and commitment to their craft. Despite the constant rumors and changes within the industry, they continue to push forward and deliver thrilling performances for the fans.

It's also worth noting that a sale of the company, if it were to happen, would likely have little impact on the day-to-day operations of the WWE and its superstars. The company has a long history of adapting to change and continuing to thrive, and it's likely that this would continue even if there were a change in ownership.

In the end, only time will tell if a sale of the company will actually happen and what the implications of such a sale would be. For now, Kevin Owens and the rest of the WWE Superstars will continue to focus on what they do best: entertaining the fans in the ring.

Book This Episode 1: The Summer of Punk Rebooked Prelude

Let’s go back to 2011, specifically June of 2011. CM Punk’s contract is expiring soon and he’s getting ready to have the biggest run of his career. On June 27th, 2011 CM Punk would cut a promo that would have the wrestling world buzzing for years to come. In his promo, Punk said that his contract expired next month and that he, the Number One Contender, would be leaving  WWE with the WWE Championship. He’d also go onto take shots at not only his opponent the following month, John Cena but other icons in the history of WWE. Whether employed by the company or not. He’d also tease defending his WWE Championship in Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling. Essentially he’d be a travelling World Champion, ala the territory days. Well, CM Punk did win the WWE Championship the next month from John Cena at Money in the Bank. However, what would happen after would disappoint wrestling fans more than anything else that’s happened in years.       How they bungled this storyline, I’m not ent

The State of Professional Wrestling - 11-29-21

I have a lot of thoughts on the state of professional wrestling in 2021. I think it’s great that AEW is around now and that they’re presenting a great product. I think WWE has the potential not be really boring but I think the consensus is that most of the time it’s just a really boring show. I cannot tell you the last time I sat through a 3 hour Raw. Oh wait, yes I can. September, 9th, 2013 and that’s only because I was at the damn show.       WWE has a problem with stagnation. The product continually feels the same and I think there’s an obvious reason for that. WWE is too scripted. I think there’s a noticeable difference in the presentation between WWE and AEW. AEW feels like a legitimate sports show and WWE feels like broadway theatre without the music. I don’t think it’s a problem with the talent. When you go top-down, guys like Roman Reigns, Big E, Brock Lesnar, Edge, Bobby Lashley, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, Finn Balor, Jeff Hardy and Kevin Owens are all main event players.

Several AEW Releases Reported

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported on Monday that announcer Dasha Kuret, Stu Grayson, Jose the Assistant, Jora Johl, Gravity, Slim J, and Parker Boudreaux have been cut from the roster. PWInsider additionally reported that The Boys (Brandon and Brent Tate) and Anthony Henry have also been released.   We have word on several All Elite Wrestling releases. On Monday, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported Dasha Kuret, Stu Grayson, Jose the Assistant, Jora Johl, Gravity, Slim J and Parker Boudreaux have been released.  In addition to Sean’s announcements, PWInsider reported the release of The Boys (Brandon and Brent Tate) and Anthony Henry. PWInsider also notes that AEW is "evaluating their talent roster and making cuts to benefit both the company and the talents."  This is the second time Stu Grayson has been released from the company. Maybe the third time in the future will be the charm.  I wonder what happens to Parker Boudreaux. He has the look of a future World Heavyweight Cha
