JAY WHITE A FREE AGENT?

According to a recent report from Fightful Select, New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) reportedly expects Jay White to head to America to sign with either WWE or All Elite Wrestling (AEW). This news comes as a surprise to many fans, as White has been a mainstay in NJPW for several years, rising through the ranks to become one of the top stars in the company.

Jay White, also known by his ring name "Switchblade," made his NJPW debut in 2016 and quickly established himself as a rising talent in the company. He quickly won the IWGP United States Championship, and then went on to win the IWGP Heavyweight Championship in 2018. White has been a consistent presence in NJPW's top storylines and matches, and has been one of the most popular wrestlers in the company over the past few years.

The fact that White is expected to leave NJPW for either WWE or AEW is significant, as it shows the level of talent and potential that he possesses. Both WWE and AEW are the two biggest wrestling promotions in the world, and signing with either company would be a major opportunity for White to take his career to the next level.

WWE, in particular, is known for signing top talent from around the world, and White would be a great fit for the company. He has the in-ring skills, mic skills, and overall charisma to succeed in WWE, and it would be interesting to see how he would fare in the company's global spotlight.

Similarly, AEW has quickly established itself as a major player in the wrestling industry, and White would be a valuable addition to the roster. AEW's focus on in-ring action and storytelling could provide an ideal platform for White's talents.

However, It's not yet confirmed that White is officially signing with either WWE or AEW, and it's worth remembering that wrestling is a business where plans change often. Until an official statement is released, we can only speculate about where Jay White's career is heading next.

Regardless of where he ends up, Jay White's departure from NJPW would be a huge loss for the company, but would open up a new chapter for him in his career, if he does decide to go to WWE or AEW, we can expect to see him have a lot of success in either company, and possibly even become a champion in the future.

In the end, Fans will have to wait and see where Jay White's next move takes him, but one thing is for sure, he will leave a lasting legacy in NJPW, and will be a major force in the American wrestling scene whenever he decide to go.

Book This Episode 1: The Summer of Punk Rebooked Prelude

Let’s go back to 2011, specifically June of 2011. CM Punk’s contract is expiring soon and he’s getting ready to have the biggest run of his career. On June 27th, 2011 CM Punk would cut a promo that would have the wrestling world buzzing for years to come. In his promo, Punk said that his contract expired next month and that he, the Number One Contender, would be leaving  WWE with the WWE Championship. He’d also go onto take shots at not only his opponent the following month, John Cena but other icons in the history of WWE. Whether employed by the company or not. He’d also tease defending his WWE Championship in Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling. Essentially he’d be a travelling World Champion, ala the territory days. Well, CM Punk did win the WWE Championship the next month from John Cena at Money in the Bank. However, what would happen after would disappoint wrestling fans more than anything else that’s happened in years.       How t...

If John Cena Beats Cody Rhodes he Technically Becomes an 18-Time World Champion

John Cena won the Elimination Chamber on Saturday night and secured an Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania this April. What followed was a shocking heel turn that fans have wanted for years. That’s not what I’m talking about here. We’re talking about how John Cena will technically become an 18-time World Champion if he beats Cody Rhodes. That would put him two ahead of Ric Flair.  Ever since Roman Reigns beat Brock Lesnar to unify the WWE Championship and the Universal Championship. From that point on, WWE recognized Roman as having two Championship reigns. With the Universal Championship and with the WWE Championship. Same with Cody Rhodes when he beat Reigns for the Undisputed Championship at last year’s WresteMania. If you look at WWE’s website it shows two concurrent reigns for Cody.  If Cena beats Cody it’s always possible that WWE in the future recognizes this as one World Title reign instead of two. There’s a few of Flair’s reign...

Bobby Lashley Issues Warning to Jon Moxley

Bobby Lashley debuted in All Elite Wrestling on October 30th last year, rejoining his former WWE stablemates MVP and Shelton Benjamin, forming The Hurt Syndicate. Lashley and The Hurt Syndicate are one of the hottest acts in AEW right now with Lashley and Benjamin winning the World Tag Team Titles last month. It’s inevitable that Bobby Lashley will get a World Championship shot at some point. He’s very over right now and a legit main event talent.  Lashley gave a warning to AEW World Champion Jon Moxley when speaking to the Sporting Tribune . Lashley said it’s only a matter of time till they face off but he’s focused on his tag team right now. Lashley said that when Jon Moxley sees him in the locker room, he stays clear of him.  Despite being cheered like a babyface, Bobby Lashley is a heel and Jon Moxley is also a heel so I don’t see them facing off soon. But I like the idea of a Moxley/Lashley match whether it’s for the Title or not. Saying that, I’d also be a fan of Bo...
