Going Over Gunther's Potential Wrestlemania Opponents

Gunther, the WWE Intercontinental is a rising star in the world of professional wrestling, and with WrestleMania just around the corner, speculation is swirling about who he'll face in the squared circle at the big show. Here are three potential opponents for Gunther at WrestleMania, ranked in order of likeliness from most to least.

Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar is the most likely opponent for Gunther at WrestleMania. Lesnar is a dominant force in the wrestling world and is always a top choice for high-profile matches. Gunther is a rising star who has been impressing fans and insiders alike with his in-ring abilities and charisma. A match between these two powerhouses would be a true spectacle and would be sure to draw a lot of attention.

Triple Threat with Sheamus and Drew McIntyre

 - A triple threat match between Gunther, Sheamus, and Drew McIntyre would be a dream match for many wrestling fans. Sheamus and McIntyre are two of the biggest names in the business, and both are known for their power and toughness. Adding Gunther to the mix would create a match that would be a true test of strength and endurance. This match would be a close runner-up to a one-on-one match with Lesnar in terms of likeliness.

Seth Rollins

- Finally, a match between Gunther and Seth Rollins would be a dream come true for many fans. Rollins is a former WWE Champion who is known for his high-flying, high-risk style of wrestling. Gunther, on the other hand, is known for his power and technical ability. This match would be a true contrast of styles and would be a true test of who is the better wrestler. While this match is less likely than the others, it would still be a fantastic match to see at WrestleMania.

In conclusion, while any of these matches would be a great opportunity for Gunther, a match with Brock Lesnar is the most likely scenario. No matter who Gunther faces at WrestleMania, one thing is for sure: he is a wrestler to watch, and he will no doubt put on an amazing performance.

Book This Episode 1: The Summer of Punk Rebooked Prelude

Let’s go back to 2011, specifically June of 2011. CM Punk’s contract is expiring soon and he’s getting ready to have the biggest run of his career. On June 27th, 2011 CM Punk would cut a promo that would have the wrestling world buzzing for years to come. In his promo, Punk said that his contract expired next month and that he, the Number One Contender, would be leaving  WWE with the WWE Championship. He’d also go onto take shots at not only his opponent the following month, John Cena but other icons in the history of WWE. Whether employed by the company or not. He’d also tease defending his WWE Championship in Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling. Essentially he’d be a travelling World Champion, ala the territory days. Well, CM Punk did win the WWE Championship the next month from John Cena at Money in the Bank. However, what would happen after would disappoint wrestling fans more than anything else that’s happened in years.       How they bungled this storyline, I’m not ent

The State of Professional Wrestling - 11-29-21

I have a lot of thoughts on the state of professional wrestling in 2021. I think it’s great that AEW is around now and that they’re presenting a great product. I think WWE has the potential not be really boring but I think the consensus is that most of the time it’s just a really boring show. I cannot tell you the last time I sat through a 3 hour Raw. Oh wait, yes I can. September, 9th, 2013 and that’s only because I was at the damn show.       WWE has a problem with stagnation. The product continually feels the same and I think there’s an obvious reason for that. WWE is too scripted. I think there’s a noticeable difference in the presentation between WWE and AEW. AEW feels like a legitimate sports show and WWE feels like broadway theatre without the music. I don’t think it’s a problem with the talent. When you go top-down, guys like Roman Reigns, Big E, Brock Lesnar, Edge, Bobby Lashley, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, Finn Balor, Jeff Hardy and Kevin Owens are all main event players.

Several AEW Releases Reported

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported on Monday that announcer Dasha Kuret, Stu Grayson, Jose the Assistant, Jora Johl, Gravity, Slim J, and Parker Boudreaux have been cut from the roster. PWInsider additionally reported that The Boys (Brandon and Brent Tate) and Anthony Henry have also been released.   We have word on several All Elite Wrestling releases. On Monday, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported Dasha Kuret, Stu Grayson, Jose the Assistant, Jora Johl, Gravity, Slim J and Parker Boudreaux have been released.  In addition to Sean’s announcements, PWInsider reported the release of The Boys (Brandon and Brent Tate) and Anthony Henry. PWInsider also notes that AEW is "evaluating their talent roster and making cuts to benefit both the company and the talents."  This is the second time Stu Grayson has been released from the company. Maybe the third time in the future will be the charm.  I wonder what happens to Parker Boudreaux. He has the look of a future World Heavyweight Cha
