3 Wrestlers Seth Rollins Should Feud With Instead of Omos

Seth Rollins should be used to build other wrestlers. His upcoming match with Omos won’t do anyone any favours. Omos is a special attraction. He shouldn’t be tying up with WWE’s resident workhorse. Here are three potential feuds for Seth Rollins that could be even better than the current one.

  1. Seth Rollins vs. Bronson Reed

Bronson Reed is set to take on Bobby Lashley and Austin Theory at Backlash for the United States Title. However if they really want to push Reed, a feud with Seth Rollins could be just what he needs to take his career to the next level. Both wrestlers are known for their high-flying and hard-hitting styles, which would make for an exciting and unpredictable matchup. Plus, a win against Rollins would give Reed a major boost in credibility and help establish him as a top player in WWE.

  1. Seth Rollins vs. Montez Ford

Montez Ford is one-half of the incredibly popular tag team The Street Profits, but he's shown that he has the skills to succeed as a singles competitor as well. A feud between Ford and Rollins would be a clash of styles, with Ford's flashy athleticism and Rollins' technical prowess creating a dynamic matchup. Plus, there is a built-in storyline, as Rollins could take issue with Ford's association with his former Shield teammate, Angelo Dawkins. This feud would be a great way to elevate both wrestlers and create some unforgettable moments in the ring.

  1. Seth Rollins vs. Dexter Lumis

Dexter Lumis is a unique and enigmatic character in WWE, known for his stoic demeanor and unsettling presence. A feud with Seth Rollins could be a fascinating clash of personalities, with Rollins' bombastic charisma and Lumis' quiet intensity creating an intriguing matchup. Plus, Lumis' unorthodox style and unpredictable tactics would make for an unpredictable and exciting feud. A win against Rollins would establish Lumis as a serious threat on Raw or Smackdown, depending on what happens during the draft. It could set him up for a major push in the company.

While the current Seth Rollins vs. Omos feud may not be hitting the mark for fans, there are plenty of other potential feuds for Rollins that could be even better. A feud with Bronson Reed, Montez Ford, or Dexter Lumis would be exciting, unpredictable, and could help elevate both wrestlers to new heights. Here's hoping that WWE takes notice and gives fans the showdowns they really want to see.

Book This Episode 1: The Summer of Punk Rebooked Prelude

Let’s go back to 2011, specifically June of 2011. CM Punk’s contract is expiring soon and he’s getting ready to have the biggest run of his career. On June 27th, 2011 CM Punk would cut a promo that would have the wrestling world buzzing for years to come. In his promo, Punk said that his contract expired next month and that he, the Number One Contender, would be leaving  WWE with the WWE Championship. He’d also go onto take shots at not only his opponent the following month, John Cena but other icons in the history of WWE. Whether employed by the company or not. He’d also tease defending his WWE Championship in Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling. Essentially he’d be a travelling World Champion, ala the territory days. Well, CM Punk did win the WWE Championship the next month from John Cena at Money in the Bank. However, what would happen after would disappoint wrestling fans more than anything else that’s happened in years.       How they bungled this storyline, I’m not ent

The State of Professional Wrestling - 11-29-21

I have a lot of thoughts on the state of professional wrestling in 2021. I think it’s great that AEW is around now and that they’re presenting a great product. I think WWE has the potential not be really boring but I think the consensus is that most of the time it’s just a really boring show. I cannot tell you the last time I sat through a 3 hour Raw. Oh wait, yes I can. September, 9th, 2013 and that’s only because I was at the damn show.       WWE has a problem with stagnation. The product continually feels the same and I think there’s an obvious reason for that. WWE is too scripted. I think there’s a noticeable difference in the presentation between WWE and AEW. AEW feels like a legitimate sports show and WWE feels like broadway theatre without the music. I don’t think it’s a problem with the talent. When you go top-down, guys like Roman Reigns, Big E, Brock Lesnar, Edge, Bobby Lashley, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, Finn Balor, Jeff Hardy and Kevin Owens are all main event players.

Several AEW Releases Reported

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported on Monday that announcer Dasha Kuret, Stu Grayson, Jose the Assistant, Jora Johl, Gravity, Slim J, and Parker Boudreaux have been cut from the roster. PWInsider additionally reported that The Boys (Brandon and Brent Tate) and Anthony Henry have also been released.   We have word on several All Elite Wrestling releases. On Monday, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported Dasha Kuret, Stu Grayson, Jose the Assistant, Jora Johl, Gravity, Slim J and Parker Boudreaux have been released.  In addition to Sean’s announcements, PWInsider reported the release of The Boys (Brandon and Brent Tate) and Anthony Henry. PWInsider also notes that AEW is "evaluating their talent roster and making cuts to benefit both the company and the talents."  This is the second time Stu Grayson has been released from the company. Maybe the third time in the future will be the charm.  I wonder what happens to Parker Boudreaux. He has the look of a future World Heavyweight Cha
