Bianca Belair: Female John Cena?

Is Bianca Belair over-pushed? Bianca Belair is one of the most impressive and dominant female wrestlers in the world today. She burst onto the scene in 2016 and quickly established herself as a force to be reckoned with. Since then, she has won multiple championships and has been booked as an unstoppable force in the women's division. However, some fans online have taken to calling her the "female John Cena" in a mocking way, due to her strong booking.

John Cena is a polarizing figure in the world of professional wrestling. He was booked as an invincible superhero for years, rarely losing a match and dominating the competition. While some fans loved Cena's never-give-up attitude and his ability to overcome the odds, others grew tired of his constant victories and predictable storylines.

Now, some fans are using the term "female John Cena" as a way to criticize Belair's booking. They believe that she is being pushed too strongly and that her dominance is making the women's division less interesting. They argue that her matches are predictable and lack suspense, as it is always assumed that she will come out on top.

While it's true that Belair has been booked as a dominant force, it's important to remember that this is not entirely her fault. She is simply playing the character that WWE creative has given her. It's also worth noting that Belair is an incredibly talented wrestler, with an impressive array of moves and a natural charisma that draws fans to her.

It's understandable that some fans might be frustrated with Belair's booking. They want to see more competitive matches and more suspense in the women's division. However, it's unfair to label her as the "female John Cena" in a mocking way. Cena may have been booked strongly, but he was also one of the most popular and successful wrestlers of his generation.

Book This Episode 1: The Summer of Punk Rebooked Prelude

Let’s go back to 2011, specifically June of 2011. CM Punk’s contract is expiring soon and he’s getting ready to have the biggest run of his career. On June 27th, 2011 CM Punk would cut a promo that would have the wrestling world buzzing for years to come. In his promo, Punk said that his contract expired next month and that he, the Number One Contender, would be leaving  WWE with the WWE Championship. He’d also go onto take shots at not only his opponent the following month, John Cena but other icons in the history of WWE. Whether employed by the company or not. He’d also tease defending his WWE Championship in Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling. Essentially he’d be a travelling World Champion, ala the territory days. Well, CM Punk did win the WWE Championship the next month from John Cena at Money in the Bank. However, what would happen after would disappoint wrestling fans more than anything else that’s happened in years.       How t...

If John Cena Beats Cody Rhodes he Technically Becomes an 18-Time World Champion

John Cena won the Elimination Chamber on Saturday night and secured an Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania this April. What followed was a shocking heel turn that fans have wanted for years. That’s not what I’m talking about here. We’re talking about how John Cena will technically become an 18-time World Champion if he beats Cody Rhodes. That would put him two ahead of Ric Flair.  Ever since Roman Reigns beat Brock Lesnar to unify the WWE Championship and the Universal Championship. From that point on, WWE recognized Roman as having two Championship reigns. With the Universal Championship and with the WWE Championship. Same with Cody Rhodes when he beat Reigns for the Undisputed Championship at last year’s WresteMania. If you look at WWE’s website it shows two concurrent reigns for Cody.  If Cena beats Cody it’s always possible that WWE in the future recognizes this as one World Title reign instead of two. There’s a few of Flair’s reign...

Bobby Lashley Issues Warning to Jon Moxley

Bobby Lashley debuted in All Elite Wrestling on October 30th last year, rejoining his former WWE stablemates MVP and Shelton Benjamin, forming The Hurt Syndicate. Lashley and The Hurt Syndicate are one of the hottest acts in AEW right now with Lashley and Benjamin winning the World Tag Team Titles last month. It’s inevitable that Bobby Lashley will get a World Championship shot at some point. He’s very over right now and a legit main event talent.  Lashley gave a warning to AEW World Champion Jon Moxley when speaking to the Sporting Tribune . Lashley said it’s only a matter of time till they face off but he’s focused on his tag team right now. Lashley said that when Jon Moxley sees him in the locker room, he stays clear of him.  Despite being cheered like a babyface, Bobby Lashley is a heel and Jon Moxley is also a heel so I don’t see them facing off soon. But I like the idea of a Moxley/Lashley match whether it’s for the Title or not. Saying that, I’d also be a fan of Bo...
