How Much Voting Control Does Vince McMahon Have in WWE?

The WWE and UFC merger has been making headlines in the world of professional wrestling and combat sports. According to Wrestlenomics, a trusted source for financial data in the industry, Vince McMahon will no longer have majority voting control over WWE or other entities within the new company.

This news may come as a surprise to some, given that McMahon has been the driving force behind WWE for decades. However, following the recent sale of WWE to Endeavor, it was expected that there would be some changes to the company's structure and leadership.

Wrestlenomics estimates that McMahon will hold only 18% of all shares in the new company, which means that his voting power will be significantly reduced. This will have a major impact on the future direction of WWE, as decisions will now be made by a board of directors with diverse interests and backgrounds.

While some fans may be concerned about the implications of this change, it's important to remember that WWE has always been a collaborative effort. McMahon may have been the face of the company, but he has always worked closely with other executives, wrestlers, and creative personnel to shape the product.

Furthermore, the merger with UFC presents new opportunities for WWE to expand its reach and appeal to a wider audience. The company has always been at the forefront of innovation and entertainment, and this new chapter in its history is no exception.

In conclusion, while McMahon's reduced voting power may seem like a significant change, it's important to remember that WWE is a dynamic and constantly evolving entity.

With the merger with UFC and new leadership on the horizon, there's no telling what the future holds for WWE. Although we can only assume that WWE will be around for a long, long time.

Book This Episode 1: The Summer of Punk Rebooked Prelude

Let’s go back to 2011, specifically June of 2011. CM Punk’s contract is expiring soon and he’s getting ready to have the biggest run of his career. On June 27th, 2011 CM Punk would cut a promo that would have the wrestling world buzzing for years to come. In his promo, Punk said that his contract expired next month and that he, the Number One Contender, would be leaving  WWE with the WWE Championship. He’d also go onto take shots at not only his opponent the following month, John Cena but other icons in the history of WWE. Whether employed by the company or not. He’d also tease defending his WWE Championship in Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling. Essentially he’d be a travelling World Champion, ala the territory days. Well, CM Punk did win the WWE Championship the next month from John Cena at Money in the Bank. However, what would happen after would disappoint wrestling fans more than anything else that’s happened in years.       How t...

If John Cena Beats Cody Rhodes he Technically Becomes an 18-Time World Champion

John Cena won the Elimination Chamber on Saturday night and secured an Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania this April. What followed was a shocking heel turn that fans have wanted for years. That’s not what I’m talking about here. We’re talking about how John Cena will technically become an 18-time World Champion if he beats Cody Rhodes. That would put him two ahead of Ric Flair.  Ever since Roman Reigns beat Brock Lesnar to unify the WWE Championship and the Universal Championship. From that point on, WWE recognized Roman as having two Championship reigns. With the Universal Championship and with the WWE Championship. Same with Cody Rhodes when he beat Reigns for the Undisputed Championship at last year’s WresteMania. If you look at WWE’s website it shows two concurrent reigns for Cody.  If Cena beats Cody it’s always possible that WWE in the future recognizes this as one World Title reign instead of two. There’s a few of Flair’s reign...

Bobby Lashley Issues Warning to Jon Moxley

Bobby Lashley debuted in All Elite Wrestling on October 30th last year, rejoining his former WWE stablemates MVP and Shelton Benjamin, forming The Hurt Syndicate. Lashley and The Hurt Syndicate are one of the hottest acts in AEW right now with Lashley and Benjamin winning the World Tag Team Titles last month. It’s inevitable that Bobby Lashley will get a World Championship shot at some point. He’s very over right now and a legit main event talent.  Lashley gave a warning to AEW World Champion Jon Moxley when speaking to the Sporting Tribune . Lashley said it’s only a matter of time till they face off but he’s focused on his tag team right now. Lashley said that when Jon Moxley sees him in the locker room, he stays clear of him.  Despite being cheered like a babyface, Bobby Lashley is a heel and Jon Moxley is also a heel so I don’t see them facing off soon. But I like the idea of a Moxley/Lashley match whether it’s for the Title or not. Saying that, I’d also be a fan of Bo...
