Was This The Worst Raw After Wrestlemania Ever?

The Raw after Wrestlemania has always been a highly anticipated event in the wrestling world. It's the night where we usually see the debuts of new wrestlers, shocking returns, and exciting storylines. However, this year's Raw after Wrestlemania left many fans disappointed, with some even going so far as to say it was the worst night after Wrestlemania Raw ever.

One of the main reasons for fans' disappointment was the main event, where Brock Lesnar beat up Cody Rhodes instead of teaming up with him. Many fans were looking forward to seeing Lesnar and Rhodes work together, but instead, Lesnar turned on Rhodes and left him lying in the ring. This left fans wondering what the future holds for Rhodes and whether he will seek revenge against Lesnar.

Another match that left fans disappointed was the Street Profits losing to Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in an entertaining match. While the match was exciting to watch, fans were hoping to see the Street Profits come out on top and establish themselves as a dominant force in the tag team division. With the loss, fans are left wondering what's next for the Street Profits and whether they will be able to bounce back from this defeat.

So, was this the worst night after Wrestlemania Raw ever? That's a difficult question to answer. While there have been other lackluster Raw after Wrestlemania events in the past, this year's event definitely did not live up to fans' expectations. However, it's important to remember that not every show can be a home run, and WWE will likely learn from this and work to make future Raw after Wrestlemania events more exciting and memorable.

What we did get is Matt Riddle coming back but it wasn't enough to make up for the rest of the mediocrity. Follow along on Twitter for more updates and stories.

Book This Episode 1: The Summer of Punk Rebooked Prelude

Let’s go back to 2011, specifically June of 2011. CM Punk’s contract is expiring soon and he’s getting ready to have the biggest run of his career. On June 27th, 2011 CM Punk would cut a promo that would have the wrestling world buzzing for years to come. In his promo, Punk said that his contract expired next month and that he, the Number One Contender, would be leaving  WWE with the WWE Championship. He’d also go onto take shots at not only his opponent the following month, John Cena but other icons in the history of WWE. Whether employed by the company or not. He’d also tease defending his WWE Championship in Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling. Essentially he’d be a travelling World Champion, ala the territory days. Well, CM Punk did win the WWE Championship the next month from John Cena at Money in the Bank. However, what would happen after would disappoint wrestling fans more than anything else that’s happened in years.       How t...

If John Cena Beats Cody Rhodes he Technically Becomes an 18-Time World Champion

John Cena won the Elimination Chamber on Saturday night and secured an Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania this April. What followed was a shocking heel turn that fans have wanted for years. That’s not what I’m talking about here. We’re talking about how John Cena will technically become an 18-time World Champion if he beats Cody Rhodes. That would put him two ahead of Ric Flair.  Ever since Roman Reigns beat Brock Lesnar to unify the WWE Championship and the Universal Championship. From that point on, WWE recognized Roman as having two Championship reigns. With the Universal Championship and with the WWE Championship. Same with Cody Rhodes when he beat Reigns for the Undisputed Championship at last year’s WresteMania. If you look at WWE’s website it shows two concurrent reigns for Cody.  If Cena beats Cody it’s always possible that WWE in the future recognizes this as one World Title reign instead of two. There’s a few of Flair’s reign...

Bobby Lashley Issues Warning to Jon Moxley

Bobby Lashley debuted in All Elite Wrestling on October 30th last year, rejoining his former WWE stablemates MVP and Shelton Benjamin, forming The Hurt Syndicate. Lashley and The Hurt Syndicate are one of the hottest acts in AEW right now with Lashley and Benjamin winning the World Tag Team Titles last month. It’s inevitable that Bobby Lashley will get a World Championship shot at some point. He’s very over right now and a legit main event talent.  Lashley gave a warning to AEW World Champion Jon Moxley when speaking to the Sporting Tribune . Lashley said it’s only a matter of time till they face off but he’s focused on his tag team right now. Lashley said that when Jon Moxley sees him in the locker room, he stays clear of him.  Despite being cheered like a babyface, Bobby Lashley is a heel and Jon Moxley is also a heel so I don’t see them facing off soon. But I like the idea of a Moxley/Lashley match whether it’s for the Title or not. Saying that, I’d also be a fan of Bo...
