When Will Jeff Hardy's Next AEW Match Be?

When will Jeff Hardy's next match be? According to Fightful Select, it won't be before the upcoming Hardy Compound match. No official date has been announced for the match.

The Hardy Compound is a private property owned by Jeff Hardy and his brother Matt, and has been the site of many memorable matches and segments in the past. The upcoming match at the Hardy Compound is expected to be a cinematic match, which means that it will be pre-taped and heavily produced, with a focus on storytelling and spectacle rather than in-ring action.

While some fans might be disappointed that they won't get to see Jeff Hardy in a traditional wrestling match in AEW, there are plenty of reasons to be excited about the upcoming Hardy Compound match. For one thing, it will give Jeff Hardy a chance to showcase his creativity and storytelling skills in a unique environment that he knows very well. For another, it will be a chance for AEW to showcase their production values and give fans a taste of what they can do with a pre-taped, cinematic match.

Book This Episode 1: The Summer of Punk Rebooked Prelude

Let’s go back to 2011, specifically June of 2011. CM Punk’s contract is expiring soon and he’s getting ready to have the biggest run of his career. On June 27th, 2011 CM Punk would cut a promo that would have the wrestling world buzzing for years to come. In his promo, Punk said that his contract expired next month and that he, the Number One Contender, would be leaving  WWE with the WWE Championship. He’d also go onto take shots at not only his opponent the following month, John Cena but other icons in the history of WWE. Whether employed by the company or not. He’d also tease defending his WWE Championship in Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling. Essentially he’d be a travelling World Champion, ala the territory days. Well, CM Punk did win the WWE Championship the next month from John Cena at Money in the Bank. However, what would happen after would disappoint wrestling fans more than anything else that’s happened in years.       How t...

New NXT Champion Ethan Page Gets His Side Plates

Ethan Page shocked the world when he won the NXT Championship last night at Heatwave. Well, I should say he stole the Title. You can check out more details here .  NXT's X account posted a video of "Ell Ego" getting the side plates for his newly won Title.  🚨 NEW SIDE PLATES 🚨  Welcome to the era of @OfficialEGO . 😁 👈 #WWENXT pic.twitter.com/uhY9dX13wj — WWE NXT (@WWENXT) July 8, 2024   I love having "All Ego" on there.  Ethan Page has worked his butt off for years and he deserves the recognition he's getting. I'm thrilled for him to be in the spot that he's in. Something tells me this won't be the last time he holds gold in WWE.

If John Cena Beats Cody Rhodes he Technically Becomes an 18-Time World Champion

John Cena won the Elimination Chamber on Saturday night and secured an Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania this April. What followed was a shocking heel turn that fans have wanted for years. That’s not what I’m talking about here. We’re talking about how John Cena will technically become an 18-time World Champion if he beats Cody Rhodes. That would put him two ahead of Ric Flair.  Ever since Roman Reigns beat Brock Lesnar to unify the WWE Championship and the Universal Championship. From that point on, WWE recognized Roman as having two Championship reigns. With the Universal Championship and with the WWE Championship. Same with Cody Rhodes when he beat Reigns for the Undisputed Championship at last year’s WresteMania. If you look at WWE’s website it shows two concurrent reigns for Cody.  If Cena beats Cody it’s always possible that WWE in the future recognizes this as one World Title reign instead of two. There’s a few of Flair’s reign...
