Will Grizzled Young Vets Go To AEW?

Wrestling fans were surprised to learn that Grizzled Young Vets, the popular NXT tag team, were granted their release from WWE. This news has led to speculation about where the duo will end up next, with many fans calling for them to be signed by AEW.

Grizzled Young Vets, comprised of James Drake and Zack Gibson, have been a fixture in NXT for several years. They are known for their hard-hitting, no-nonsense style and their ability to work a crowd. They have been a consistent presence on NXT television and have had memorable feuds with some of the brand's top tag teams.

With their release from WWE, Grizzled Young Vets are now free to sign with any wrestling promotion they choose. AEW would certainly be a great fit for the duo, as the company is known for its emphasis on tag team wrestling. They would also be a great addition to AEW's subsidiary, Ring of Honor, or could even find a home in Impact Wrestling if they want to stay in the United States.

Grizzled Young Vets would bring a level of experience and legitimacy to any promotion they join. They have proven themselves as one of the best tag teams in NXT and would be a valuable addition to any wrestling roster.

Of course, it remains to be seen where Grizzled Young Vets will end up. They may choose to take some time off from wrestling or explore other opportunities outside of the industry. However, if they do decide to continue their wrestling careers, they would be a valuable asset to any promotion that signs them.

So, should AEW sign Grizzled Young Vets? It's certainly a possibility, and one that would be welcomed by many wrestling fans. However, wherever they end up, one thing is for sure: Grizzled Young Vets will continue to leave their mark on the wrestling world.

Book This Episode 1: The Summer of Punk Rebooked Prelude

Let’s go back to 2011, specifically June of 2011. CM Punk’s contract is expiring soon and he’s getting ready to have the biggest run of his career. On June 27th, 2011 CM Punk would cut a promo that would have the wrestling world buzzing for years to come. In his promo, Punk said that his contract expired next month and that he, the Number One Contender, would be leaving  WWE with the WWE Championship. He’d also go onto take shots at not only his opponent the following month, John Cena but other icons in the history of WWE. Whether employed by the company or not. He’d also tease defending his WWE Championship in Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling. Essentially he’d be a travelling World Champion, ala the territory days. Well, CM Punk did win the WWE Championship the next month from John Cena at Money in the Bank. However, what would happen after would disappoint wrestling fans more than anything else that’s happened in years.       How t...

If John Cena Beats Cody Rhodes he Technically Becomes an 18-Time World Champion

John Cena won the Elimination Chamber on Saturday night and secured an Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania this April. What followed was a shocking heel turn that fans have wanted for years. That’s not what I’m talking about here. We’re talking about how John Cena will technically become an 18-time World Champion if he beats Cody Rhodes. That would put him two ahead of Ric Flair.  Ever since Roman Reigns beat Brock Lesnar to unify the WWE Championship and the Universal Championship. From that point on, WWE recognized Roman as having two Championship reigns. With the Universal Championship and with the WWE Championship. Same with Cody Rhodes when he beat Reigns for the Undisputed Championship at last year’s WresteMania. If you look at WWE’s website it shows two concurrent reigns for Cody.  If Cena beats Cody it’s always possible that WWE in the future recognizes this as one World Title reign instead of two. There’s a few of Flair’s reign...

Bobby Lashley Issues Warning to Jon Moxley

Bobby Lashley debuted in All Elite Wrestling on October 30th last year, rejoining his former WWE stablemates MVP and Shelton Benjamin, forming The Hurt Syndicate. Lashley and The Hurt Syndicate are one of the hottest acts in AEW right now with Lashley and Benjamin winning the World Tag Team Titles last month. It’s inevitable that Bobby Lashley will get a World Championship shot at some point. He’s very over right now and a legit main event talent.  Lashley gave a warning to AEW World Champion Jon Moxley when speaking to the Sporting Tribune . Lashley said it’s only a matter of time till they face off but he’s focused on his tag team right now. Lashley said that when Jon Moxley sees him in the locker room, he stays clear of him.  Despite being cheered like a babyface, Bobby Lashley is a heel and Jon Moxley is also a heel so I don’t see them facing off soon. But I like the idea of a Moxley/Lashley match whether it’s for the Title or not. Saying that, I’d also be a fan of Bo...
