TNA Impact Preview May 21st 2026

A TNA World Championship main event is headlining tonight’s Impact. Mike Santana defends the World Championship against Steve Maclin. Maclin looks to win the World Championship back for the first time since 2023.

Elsewhere on the show, Mustafa Ali is defending the International Championship against the young upstart Chazz “Starboy” Hall. Will Order 4 help Ali retain the Title or can he do it on his own? Two of the most talented women in TNA go head to head when Elayna Black takes on Indi Hartwell.

Jeff Hardy and Dutch will be handcuffed to the ring posts as Matt Hardy takes on Vincent. Xia Brookside is taking on Jada Stone in a battle to see who can breakthrough to the next level. Finally, The System opens the show, as they continue to assert their dominance over the company.

If John Cena Beats Cody Rhodes he Technically Becomes an 18-Time World Champion

John Cena won the Elimination Chamber on Saturday night and secured an Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania this April. What followed was a shocking heel turn that fans have wanted for years. That’s not what I’m talking about here. We’re talking about how John Cena will technically become an 18-time World Champion if he beats Cody Rhodes. That would put him two ahead of Ric Flair. Ever since Roman Reigns beat Brock Lesnar to unify the WWE Championship and the Universal Championship. From that point on, WWE recognized Roman as having two Championship reigns. With the Universal Championship and with the WWE Championship. Same with Cody Rhodes when he beat Reigns for the Undisputed Championship at last year’s WresteMania. Bobby Lashley Issues Warning to Jon Moxley

Bobby Lashley debuted in All Elite Wrestling on October 30th last year, rejoining his former WWE stablemates MVP and Shelton Benjamin, forming The Hurt Syndicate. Lashley and The Hurt Syndicate are one of the hottest acts in AEW right now with Lashley and Benjamin winning the World Tag Team Titles last month. It’s inevitable that Bobby Lashley will get a World Championship shot at some point. He’s very over right now and a legit main event talent. Lashley gave a warning to AEW World Champion Jon Moxley when speaking to the Sporting Tribune . Lashley said it’s only a matter of time till they face off but he’s focused on his tag team right now. Lashley said that when Jon Moxley sees him in the locker room, he stays clear of him. Despite being cheered like a babyface, Bobby Lashley is a heel and Jon Moxley is also a heel so I don’t see them facing off soon.
