Will AEW Ever Run Madison Square Garden?

Will All Elite Wrestling ever air a show from the legendary Madison Square Garden Arena? Never say never but I wouldn’t count on it anytime soon.

During the Double or Nothing media scrum from last night Tony was asked by Justin Dorazio if he has ever tried to run MSG and if it’s a possibility in the future. TK responded by saying representatives from MSG reached out about running the first Dynamite from 2019 at the hollowed venue. Khan said he was interested but they quickly called back and rescinded the offer.

Khan has told this story before but this may put the MSG questions to rest now.

It doesn’t sound like there’s any ill will from Tony but said that was the last time they talked about running the Garden. MSG is WWE grounds so it’s not surprising they don’t want the competition running in their “house”. There’s been countless iconic WWE moments at the Garden and several WrestleManias.

If John Cena Beats Cody Rhodes he Technically Becomes an 18-Time World Champion

John Cena won the Elimination Chamber on Saturday night and secured an Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania this April. What followed was a shocking heel turn that fans have wanted for years. That’s not what I’m talking about here. We’re talking about how John Cena will technically become an 18-time World Champion if he beats Cody Rhodes. That would put him two ahead of Ric Flair. Ever since Roman Reigns beat Brock Lesnar to unify the WWE Championship and the Universal Championship. From that point on, WWE recognized Roman as having two Championship reigns. With the Universal Championship and with the WWE Championship. Same with Cody Rhodes when he beat Reigns for the Undisputed Championship at last year’s WresteMania. Bobby Lashley Issues Warning to Jon Moxley

Bobby Lashley debuted in All Elite Wrestling on October 30th last year, rejoining his former WWE stablemates MVP and Shelton Benjamin, forming The Hurt Syndicate. Lashley and The Hurt Syndicate are one of the hottest acts in AEW right now with Lashley and Benjamin winning the World Tag Team Titles last month. It’s inevitable that Bobby Lashley will get a World Championship shot at some point. He’s very over right now and a legit main event talent. Lashley gave a warning to AEW World Champion Jon Moxley when speaking to the Sporting Tribune . Lashley said it’s only a matter of time till they face off but he’s focused on his tag team right now. Lashley said that when Jon Moxley sees him in the locker room, he stays clear of him.
