Are The Acclaimed Winning The AEW World Tag Team Titles Tonight?

Will The Acclaimed do what they couldn’t do at All Out? Beat Swerve in Our Glory. The lovable duo has a chance at greatness during tonight’s Grand Slam edition of Dynamite. They get their rematch with Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland and will look to make the most of it.

They came very close to winning the Titles at All Out but came up short. Wrestling is a scripted sport and many were calling for Tony Khan to call an audible and make the switch then. I was one of the ones hopefully for that to be called. You can catch my reaction their All Out match here:

If I’m a betting man, which I am with Monopoly money right now then I’d bet the Acclaimed is going to walk out as AEW World Tag Team Champions. Max Caster and Anthony Bowens have really caught steam as of late and they should be rewarded tonight. As for Swerve and Keith Lee, I think they move into a feud with each other before both ascending to regularly competing in main event singles matches.

If John Cena Beats Cody Rhodes he Technically Becomes an 18-Time World Champion

John Cena won the Elimination Chamber on Saturday night and secured an Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania this April. What followed was a shocking heel turn that fans have wanted for years. That’s not what I’m talking about here. We’re talking about how John Cena will technically become an 18-time World Champion if he beats Cody Rhodes. That would put him two ahead of Ric Flair. Ever since Roman Reigns beat Brock Lesnar to unify the WWE Championship and the Universal Championship. From that point on, WWE recognized Roman as having two Championship reigns. With the Universal Championship and with the WWE Championship. Same with Cody Rhodes when he beat Reigns for the Undisputed Championship at last year’s WresteMania. If you look at WWE’s website it shows two concurrent reigns for Cody. If Cena beats Cody it’s always possible that WWE in the future recognizes this as one World Title reign instead of two. Bobby Lashley Issues Warning to Jon Moxley

Bobby Lashley debuted in All Elite Wrestling on October 30th last year, rejoining his former WWE stablemates MVP and Shelton Benjamin, forming The Hurt Syndicate. Lashley and The Hurt Syndicate are one of the hottest acts in AEW right now with Lashley and Benjamin winning the World Tag Team Titles last month. It’s inevitable that Bobby Lashley will get a World Championship shot at some point. He’s very over right now and a legit main event talent. Lashley gave a warning to AEW World Champion Jon Moxley when speaking to the Sporting Tribune . Lashley said it’s only a matter of time till they face off but he’s focused on his tag team right now. Lashley said that when Jon Moxley sees him in the locker room, he stays clear of him. Despite being cheered like a babyface, Bobby Lashley is a heel and Jon Moxley is also a heel so I don’t see them facing off soon.
