Hangman Page Says He Owes a Lot to The Elite and Dark Order

Hangman Page has had quite the interesting year. The PWI 500 will be released today and Adam Page can make the case for #1.

He’s been in the news for out of the ring reasons as of late. Due to his beef with CM Punk and Punk’s acknowledgement of it on TV and to the media, Page has become quite the talking point in wrestling but not because of his wrestling. He’s one of the most talented wrestlers in the company, he’s relatively home grown and has a great connection with the audience. I got to witness that connection last week in Buffalo.

He didn’t cut a promo last week to acknowledge what happened and we’ve all been anxiously waiting to hear from him. Hangman released an Instagram post thanking his de facto followers and teammates, the Dark Order. He spent the bulk of the post which you can find here thanking the group. At the end he also said he owes a lot to the supposedly suspended Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks. It’s interesting that he acknowledged the Young Bucks and Omega with their suspension rumours.

If John Cena Beats Cody Rhodes he Technically Becomes an 18-Time World Champion

John Cena won the Elimination Chamber on Saturday night and secured an Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania this April. What followed was a shocking heel turn that fans have wanted for years. That’s not what I’m talking about here. We’re talking about how John Cena will technically become an 18-time World Champion if he beats Cody Rhodes. That would put him two ahead of Ric Flair. Ever since Roman Reigns beat Brock Lesnar to unify the WWE Championship and the Universal Championship. From that point on, WWE recognized Roman as having two Championship reigns. With the Universal Championship and with the WWE Championship. Same with Cody Rhodes when he beat Reigns for the Undisputed Championship at last year’s WresteMania. Bobby Lashley Issues Warning to Jon Moxley

Bobby Lashley debuted in All Elite Wrestling on October 30th last year, rejoining his former WWE stablemates MVP and Shelton Benjamin, forming The Hurt Syndicate. Lashley and The Hurt Syndicate are one of the hottest acts in AEW right now with Lashley and Benjamin winning the World Tag Team Titles last month. It’s inevitable that Bobby Lashley will get a World Championship shot at some point. He’s very over right now and a legit main event talent. Lashley gave a warning to AEW World Champion Jon Moxley when speaking to the Sporting Tribune . Lashley said it’s only a matter of time till they face off but he’s focused on his tag team right now. Lashley said that when Jon Moxley sees him in the locker room, he stays clear of him.
