According to Sports Illustrated, The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega have been suspended by AEW for their part in the altercation with CM Punk and Ace Steel after the controversial All Out Media Scrum. According to reports, group known as the Elite busted down the locker room door of new World Champion, CM Punk.
During the scrum, Punk said it isn’t Reseda anymore and gave a clear message to the Young Bucks that he isn’t a fan of them of talking to the wrestling journalists. The Bucks have a connection with Dave Meltzer, the top wrestling journalist in America, affectionately calling him “Uncle Dave”. Punk also ran down their friends, Colt Cabana and “Hangman” Adam Page. Punk’s made it clear that he isn’t a fan of the seeming lack of professionalism in the AEW locker room.
We’re still waiting to hear the punishment for Punk, whether that be a suspension, fine, vacating his title or his contract being terminated. Sports Illustrated reports that a third party will be investigating the incident that took place after All Out at the Media Scrum. What happens next is anyone’s guess but only man can make that decision. That man is Tony Khan. This is a pivotal moment in his company’s brief history and how he weathers this situation will determine if he’s the next Eric Bischoff or the next Herb Abrams.
