The Plans for Braun Strowman

According to PWInsider, Braun Strowman will be presented as a babyface and will be on Smackdown going forward. Strowman made his return to the company on the most recent episode of Raw. We covered the lead up to his return and are very excited to see Braun back in the company.

The plan is that he will be a babyface and will be on Smackdown. In a shift to smaller, acrobatic in ring performers, WWE could sorely use a monster like Braun in the fold. Braun poses a legitimate threat to Roman Reigns and the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Roman Reigns has been a dominant Champion and his Universal Title reign actually began in a match that featured Braun, as well as the “Fiend” Bray Wyatt. Roman has since added the WWE Championship to his arsenal and is the dominant Champion of the past 30 years.

Will Braun be the one to take down Roman after all this time? I’d personally be shocked if that happened. You can’t argue that Braun wasn’t one of the most over wrestlers in the company at one point. You could actually make the argument that he was more over than Roman Reigns as a babyface. His return to Raw and the ovation he received means that audience still has that connection to Braun that made him popular in the first place.

If John Cena Beats Cody Rhodes he Technically Becomes an 18-Time World Champion

John Cena won the Elimination Chamber on Saturday night and secured an Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania this April. What followed was a shocking heel turn that fans have wanted for years. That’s not what I’m talking about here. We’re talking about how John Cena will technically become an 18-time World Champion if he beats Cody Rhodes. That would put him two ahead of Ric Flair. Ever since Roman Reigns beat Brock Lesnar to unify the WWE Championship and the Universal Championship. From that point on, WWE recognized Roman as having two Championship reigns. With the Universal Championship and with the WWE Championship. Same with Cody Rhodes when he beat Reigns for the Undisputed Championship at last year’s WresteMania. Bobby Lashley Issues Warning to Jon Moxley

Bobby Lashley debuted in All Elite Wrestling on October 30th last year, rejoining his former WWE stablemates MVP and Shelton Benjamin, forming The Hurt Syndicate. Lashley and The Hurt Syndicate are one of the hottest acts in AEW right now with Lashley and Benjamin winning the World Tag Team Titles last month. It’s inevitable that Bobby Lashley will get a World Championship shot at some point. He’s very over right now and a legit main event talent. Lashley gave a warning to AEW World Champion Jon Moxley when speaking to the Sporting Tribune . Lashley said it’s only a matter of time till they face off but he’s focused on his tag team right now. Lashley said that when Jon Moxley sees him in the locker room, he stays clear of him.
