John Cena Returning at Wrestlemania 39 to Wrestle?

Could we see John Cena return at Wrestlemania 39? We haven’t seen him wrestle since he lost to Roman Reigns at SummerSlam 2021. He was last seen on WWE TV on the June 27th, 2022 episode of Raw.

John Cena is one of the most popular wrestlers in WWE history, and he’s also one of the most popular celebrities in the world. So, it’s no surprise that fans are speculating about a potential return for Cena at this year’s WrestleMania.

While nothing has been confirmed, there have been rumors that Cena could return to face Austin Theory at WrestleMania 39. This would be a huge match-up, and it would definitely be a must-see event.

Potential John Cena Opponents:

If Cena does return, it would be interesting to see how he would be received by the WWE Universe. There’s no doubt that he’s still one of the most popular superstars, but there are also a lot of fans who have turned on him in recent years.

Either way, a John Cena return would be a huge moment for WWE, and it would definitely be must-see television. Would you like to see him face Theory if he comes back? There’s also been talk about Cena facing Logan Paul at the big event.

If John Cena Beats Cody Rhodes he Technically Becomes an 18-Time World Champion

John Cena won the Elimination Chamber on Saturday night and secured an Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania this April. What followed was a shocking heel turn that fans have wanted for years. That’s not what I’m talking about here. We’re talking about how John Cena will technically become an 18-time World Champion if he beats Cody Rhodes. That would put him two ahead of Ric Flair. Ever since Roman Reigns beat Brock Lesnar to unify the WWE Championship and the Universal Championship. From that point on, WWE recognized Roman as having two Championship reigns. With the Universal Championship and with the WWE Championship. Same with Cody Rhodes when he beat Reigns for the Undisputed Championship at last year’s WresteMania. Bobby Lashley debuted in All Elite Wrestling on October 30th last year, rejoining his former WWE stablemates MVP and Shelton Benjamin, forming The Hurt Syndicate.
