SPOILER: The Oddsmakers Think We’re Getting a Title Switch at Final Battle

If you pay attention to betting lines, it can tell you a lot about the future outcome of a game, fight or match. I’m posting my locks very soon on here.

Something popped out to me while looking at Bet Online’s odds. Athena is -600 to win over Mercedes Martinez. That would mean a Title switch from Martinez to Athena. They think the former Ember Moon is going to win the Title.

I’d be confidently locking in Athena to win this match and the Title. However, the odds aren’t where I’d want them to be. If Athena was -350 and I could get a better return, I’d be more in on it.

Instead, I’ll sit back and place my money in other matches. Like the Briscoes vs FTR, which you can check on the website later today.

If John Cena Beats Cody Rhodes he Technically Becomes an 18-Time World Champion

John Cena won the Elimination Chamber on Saturday night and secured an Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania this April. What followed was a shocking heel turn that fans have wanted for years. That’s not what I’m talking about here. We’re talking about how John Cena will technically become an 18-time World Champion if he beats Cody Rhodes. That would put him two ahead of Ric Flair. Ever since Roman Reigns beat Brock Lesnar to unify the WWE Championship and the Universal Championship. From that point on, WWE recognized Roman as having two Championship reigns. With the Universal Championship and with the WWE Championship. Same with Cody Rhodes when he beat Reigns for the Undisputed Championship at last year’s WresteMania. If you look at WWE’s website it shows two concurrent reigns for Cody. If Cena beats Cody it’s always possible that WWE in the future recognizes this as one World Title reign instead of two. Bobby Lashley Issues Warning to Jon Moxley

Bobby Lashley debuted in All Elite Wrestling on October 30th last year, rejoining his former WWE stablemates MVP and Shelton Benjamin, forming The Hurt Syndicate. Lashley and The Hurt Syndicate are one of the hottest acts in AEW right now with Lashley and Benjamin winning the World Tag Team Titles last month. It’s inevitable that Bobby Lashley will get a World Championship shot at some point. He’s very over right now and a legit main event talent. Lashley gave a warning to AEW World Champion Jon Moxley when speaking to the Sporting Tribune . Lashley said it’s only a matter of time till they face off but he’s focused on his tag team right now. Lashley said that when Jon Moxley sees him in the locker room, he stays clear of him. Despite being cheered like a babyface, Bobby Lashley is a heel and Jon Moxley is also a heel so I don’t see them facing off soon.
