At last night's PWG's Battle of Los Angeles Night 2, Chris Jericho shockingly made an appearance and even wrestled. He appeared alongside his group, the Jericho Appreciation Society. Jericho's protege, Daniel Garcia is the current PWG World Champion so it makes sense that he'd show up to support him.
Jericho appeared at the show alongside his stablemates, Matt Menard, Angelo Parker, Daniel Garcia, Sammy Guevara, Jake Hager, Tay Melo, and Anna Jay A.S. The Wizard would also compete in a match at the show. Jericho, Guevara, Garcia, Parker, and Menard defeated Player Uno (Evil Uno), Kevin Blackwood, Jonathan Gresham, SB KENTo and Michael Oku.
PWG has its place in wrestling history and now they can say that Chris Jericho laced up the boots for them at one time. Jericho is a wrestling legend at this point and being in AEW allows him to wrestle for outside companies like PWG.
Did you watch the show last night or are you waking up to read about this? I think it's cool that Tony Khan lets his talent wrestle for outside companies. Although they are just keeping it to ones they have good relationships with. I wouldn't expect Chris to show up at a GCW show in a bucket of blood match anytime soon.
Let me know your thoughts about this on Twitter. Credit to original poster of the Jericho picture I'm using. You can check them out here. Also credit to PWG obviously.
