Hulk Hogan Coming to Raw XXX

WWE is kicking it old school next Monday. They’re celebrating the 30th Anniversary of Monday Night Raw. Raw XXX. The show will celebrate Raw’s historic run on television. The highlight of these shows is always the legends that come back. We’ve seen everyone from Roman Reigns’ family to the Undertaker to Ric Flair being announced.

According to Ric, fellow wrestling legend Hulk Hogan will be on Raw as well. On Flair’s To Be The Man podcast he seemingly confirmed that Hulk Hogan will be on next Monday’s Raw.

“Hulkamania is coming. He confirmed to me last night that he’s coming.”

The Hulkster has always been embattled by controversy. He was even removed from the WWE Hall of Fame at one point for racially insensitive comments. However, he’s arguably the most famous professional wrestler at one time. He was partly responsible for the rise of the WWF in the 80s.

Would you like to see Hulk Hogan on the show? He’s no doubt a legend but he’s also had so much controversy. I understand why people wouldn’t want to see him but if he’s on there for a quick promo I think it’ll be fine. Mix it up with one of the current wrestlers and give him the rub. Or maybe do a light-hearted backstage segments with Hogan and the other wrestlers.

Does the appearance of all these legends makes you want to turn into Monday Night Raw? Without Monday Night Football to compete with, this could do a massive rating for them if the interest is there. Hit me up on Twitter for more.

Book This Episode 1: The Summer of Punk Rebooked Prelude

Let’s go back to 2011, specifically June of 2011. CM Punk’s contract is expiring soon and he’s getting ready to have the biggest run of his career. On June 27th, 2011 CM Punk would cut a promo that would have the wrestling world buzzing for years to come. In his promo, Punk said that his contract expired next month and that he, the Number One Contender, would be leaving  WWE with the WWE Championship. He’d also go onto take shots at not only his opponent the following month, John Cena but other icons in the history of WWE. Whether employed by the company or not. He’d also tease defending his WWE Championship in Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling. Essentially he’d be a travelling World Champion, ala the territory days. Well, CM Punk did win the WWE Championship the next month from John Cena at Money in the Bank. However, what would happen after would disappoint wrestling fans more than anything else that’s happened in years.       How t...

If John Cena Beats Cody Rhodes he Technically Becomes an 18-Time World Champion

John Cena won the Elimination Chamber on Saturday night and secured an Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania this April. What followed was a shocking heel turn that fans have wanted for years. That’s not what I’m talking about here. We’re talking about how John Cena will technically become an 18-time World Champion if he beats Cody Rhodes. That would put him two ahead of Ric Flair.  Ever since Roman Reigns beat Brock Lesnar to unify the WWE Championship and the Universal Championship. From that point on, WWE recognized Roman as having two Championship reigns. With the Universal Championship and with the WWE Championship. Same with Cody Rhodes when he beat Reigns for the Undisputed Championship at last year’s WresteMania. If you look at WWE’s website it shows two concurrent reigns for Cody.  If Cena beats Cody it’s always possible that WWE in the future recognizes this as one World Title reign instead of two. There’s a few of Flair’s reign...

Bobby Lashley Issues Warning to Jon Moxley

Bobby Lashley debuted in All Elite Wrestling on October 30th last year, rejoining his former WWE stablemates MVP and Shelton Benjamin, forming The Hurt Syndicate. Lashley and The Hurt Syndicate are one of the hottest acts in AEW right now with Lashley and Benjamin winning the World Tag Team Titles last month. It’s inevitable that Bobby Lashley will get a World Championship shot at some point. He’s very over right now and a legit main event talent.  Lashley gave a warning to AEW World Champion Jon Moxley when speaking to the Sporting Tribune . Lashley said it’s only a matter of time till they face off but he’s focused on his tag team right now. Lashley said that when Jon Moxley sees him in the locker room, he stays clear of him.  Despite being cheered like a babyface, Bobby Lashley is a heel and Jon Moxley is also a heel so I don’t see them facing off soon. But I like the idea of a Moxley/Lashley match whether it’s for the Title or not. Saying that, I’d also be a fan of Bo...
