The Current Betting Favourite for the Men's Royal Rumble - Surprising Top Dog?

WWE's Royal Rumble is coming up and a lot of fans have been wondering who will be winning the big match. Bet Online has released the betting odds for the match and I think there's one name you should be getting in on.

They gave Cody Rhodes the best odds at +100 to win the match. So you wouldn't win that much money if Cody wins and I don't think it's the safest pick in the world. The Rumble is always a crapshoot and we often see the wrong guy win. I think Cody will be wrestling for a World Title at Wrestlemania but I don't think the Rumble is the pathway to that.

I think The Rock at +400 is a better bet. I mean they're already taking odds on Rock/Roman at Wrestlemania. I doubt The Rock is going to show up in Montreal at Elimination Chamber to vie to become number one contender. So I think if you're going to bet on this match, The Rock would be a better shot than Cody.

If John Cena Beats Cody Rhodes he Technically Becomes an 18-Time World Champion

John Cena won the Elimination Chamber on Saturday night and secured an Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania this April. What followed was a shocking heel turn that fans have wanted for years. That’s not what I’m talking about here. We’re talking about how John Cena will technically become an 18-time World Champion if he beats Cody Rhodes. That would put him two ahead of Ric Flair. Ever since Roman Reigns beat Brock Lesnar to unify the WWE Championship and the Universal Championship. From that point on, WWE recognized Roman as having two Championship reigns. With the Universal Championship and with the WWE Championship. Same with Cody Rhodes when he beat Reigns for the Undisputed Championship at last year’s WresteMania. Bobby Lashley debuted in All Elite Wrestling on October 30th last year, rejoining his former WWE stablemates MVP and Shelton Benjamin, forming The Hurt Syndicate. Lashley and The Hurt Syndicate are one of the hottest acts in AEW right now with Lashley and Benjamin winning the World Tag Team Titles last month.
