AEW Dynamite Preview: Moxley/Page III


Wrestling fans everywhere, get ready because tonight's AEW Dynamite is shaping up to be an epic event. AEW has announced an exciting lineup of matches that are sure to keep fans on the edge of their seats. Here's what we can expect to see tonight:


  • Jon Moxley vs. Adam Page III: In what promises to be an intense match, Jon Moxley will take on Adam Page III. These two have been locked in a fierce rivalry for some time now, and tonight's match will be the latest chapter in their ongoing feud.


  • Bryan Danielson vs. Timothy Thatcher: In a highly anticipated debut match, Timothy Thatcher will take on the seasoned veteran Bryan Danielson. This match promises to be a technical wrestling clinic, and fans of the sport won't want to miss it. Thatcher is making his AEW Debut. 


  • Brian Cage vs. Konosuke Takeshita: The ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champion Brian Cage will take on Konosuke Takeshita in what promises to be a hard-hitting match. With both men possessing incredible strength and athleticism, this match is sure to be a showstopper.


  • Jade Cargill defends against Red Velvet: The AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill will be looking to continue her undefeated streak as she defends her title against Red Velvet. With Cargill looking to go 50-0, this match promises to be a fierce contest.


  • The Acclaimed defend against a tag team to be announced: The AEW World Tag Team Champions The Acclaimed will be putting their titles on the line against a tag team that is yet to be announced. With The Acclaimed at the top of their game, this match will be a tough test for their opponents.


  • Darby Allin defends against Samoa Joe: In a No Holds Barred match, the AEW TNT Champion Darby Allin will take on ROH World Television Champion Samoa Joe. With both men known for their high-flying and death-defying stunts, this match promises to be a wild ride.

If John Cena Beats Cody Rhodes he Technically Becomes an 18-Time World Champion

  John Cena won the Elimination Chamber on Saturday night and secured an Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania this April. What followed was a shocking heel turn that fans have wanted for years. That’s not what I’m talking about here. We’re talking about how John Cena will technically become an 18-time World Champion if he beats Cody Rhodes. That would put him two ahead of Ric Flair.  Ever since Roman Reigns beat Brock Lesnar to unify the WWE Championship and the Universal Championship. From that point on, WWE recognized Roman as having two Championship reigns. With the Universal Championship and with the WWE Championship. Same with Cody Rhodes when he beat Reigns for the Undisputed Championship at last year’s WresteMania. If you look at WWE’s website it shows two concurrent reigns for Cody.  If Cena beats Cody it’s always possible that WWE in the future recognizes this as one World Title reign instead of two. Bobby Lashley Issues Warning to Jon Moxley

Bobby Lashley debuted in All Elite Wrestling on October 30th last year, rejoining his former WWE stablemates MVP and Shelton Benjamin, forming The Hurt Syndicate. Lashley and The Hurt Syndicate are one of the hottest acts in AEW right now with Lashley and Benjamin winning the World Tag Team Titles last month. It’s inevitable that Bobby Lashley will get a World Championship shot at some point. He’s very over right now and a legit main event talent.  Lashley gave a warning to AEW World Champion Jon Moxley when speaking to the Sporting Tribune . Lashley said it’s only a matter of time till they face off but he’s focused on his tag team right now. Lashley said that when Jon Moxley sees him in the locker room, he stays clear of him.  Despite being cheered like a babyface, Bobby Lashley is a heel and Jon Moxley is also a heel so I don’t see them facing off soon.
