Cody Rhodes VS Brock Lesnar Official for Backlash 2023

Cody Rhodes vs Brock Lesnar for the first time ever was made official on this week’s WWE Raw. They’ll meet at Backlash in Puerto Rico next month.

During a segment on Raw, Adam Pearce attempted to convince Cody Rhodes to leave the ring but he refused and instead called out Brock Lesnar. Cody is looking to get his revenge on Brock for his vicious attack on the Raw after Wrstlemania. As security approached, Lesnar's music played and he taunted Rhodes on stage. Rhodes attempted to reach Lesnar but was blocked by security.

The match between Rhodes and Lesnar was officially made for Backlash in Puerto Rico on May 6th, and after Rhodes handled the security, he insulted Lesnar, saying that he could wear a cowboy hat but he was not a cowboy, he was a coward.

If John Cena Beats Cody Rhodes he Technically Becomes an 18-Time World Champion

John Cena won the Elimination Chamber on Saturday night and secured an Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania this April. What followed was a shocking heel turn that fans have wanted for years. That’s not what I’m talking about here. We’re talking about how John Cena will technically become an 18-time World Champion if he beats Cody Rhodes. That would put him two ahead of Ric Flair. Ever since Roman Reigns beat Brock Lesnar to unify the WWE Championship and the Universal Championship. From that point on, WWE recognized Roman as having two Championship reigns. With the Universal Championship and with the WWE Championship. Same with Cody Rhodes when he beat Reigns for the Undisputed Championship at last year’s WresteMania. Bobby Lashley Issues Warning to Jon Moxley

Bobby Lashley debuted in All Elite Wrestling on October 30th last year, rejoining his former WWE stablemates MVP and Shelton Benjamin, forming The Hurt Syndicate. Lashley and The Hurt Syndicate are one of the hottest acts in AEW right now with Lashley and Benjamin winning the World Tag Team Titles last month. It’s inevitable that Bobby Lashley will get a World Championship shot at some point. He’s very over right now and a legit main event talent. Lashley gave a warning to AEW World Champion Jon Moxley when speaking to the Sporting Tribune . Lashley said it’s only a matter of time till they face off but he’s focused on his tag team right now. Lashley said that when Jon Moxley sees him in the locker room, he stays clear of him.
