Skye Blue Officially Signs With AEW

Tonight on Twitter Tony Khan announced Skye Blue has signed a full-time contract with AEW. She’s had a number of appearances on Dynamite, Rampage and Dark and many thought she was already signed. Turns out she wasn’t. AEW needs to continue to sign younger women’s wrestlers like her. It wouldn’t surprise me if Billie Starkz is an upcoming signing. She’s wrestling Jade Cargill for the TBS Championship on Battle of the Belts.

Youthful female wrestlers bring fresh ideas and perspectives to the industry. They have a hunger and drive to succeed that can be infectious, inspiring the rest of the roster to up their game. Skye Blue, for example, has been wrestling for just a few years but has already made a name for herself in the independent scene. If John Cena Beats Cody Rhodes he Technically Becomes an 18-Time World Champion

John Cena won the Elimination Chamber on Saturday night and secured an Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania this April. What followed was a shocking heel turn that fans have wanted for years. That’s not what I’m talking about here. We’re talking about how John Cena will technically become an 18-time World Champion if he beats Cody Rhodes. That would put him two ahead of Ric Flair. Ever since Roman Reigns beat Brock Lesnar to unify the WWE Championship and the Universal Championship. From that point on, WWE recognized Roman as having two Championship reigns. With the Universal Championship and with the WWE Championship. Same with Cody Rhodes when he beat Reigns for the Undisputed Championship at last year’s WresteMania. Bobby Lashley Issues Warning to Jon Moxley

Bobby Lashley debuted in All Elite Wrestling on October 30th last year, rejoining his former WWE stablemates MVP and Shelton Benjamin, forming The Hurt Syndicate. Lashley and The Hurt Syndicate are one of the hottest acts in AEW right now with Lashley and Benjamin winning the World Tag Team Titles last month. It’s inevitable that Bobby Lashley will get a World Championship shot at some point. He’s very over right now and a legit main event talent. Lashley gave a warning to AEW World Champion Jon Moxley when speaking to the Sporting Tribune . Lashley said it’s only a matter of time till they face off but he’s focused on his tag team right now. Lashley said that when Jon Moxley sees him in the locker room, he stays clear of him.
