Tonight on Twitter Tony Khan announced Skye Blue has signed a full-time contract with AEW. She’s had a number of appearances on Dynamite, Rampage and Dark and many thought she was already signed. Turns out she wasn’t. AEW needs to continue to sign younger women’s wrestlers like her. It wouldn’t surprise me if Billie Starkz is an upcoming signing. She’s wrestling Jade Cargill for the TBS Championship on Battle of the Belts.
Youthful female wrestlers bring fresh ideas and perspectives to the industry. They have a hunger and drive to succeed that can be infectious, inspiring the rest of the roster to up their game. Skye Blue, for example, has been wrestling for just a few years but has already made a name for herself in the independent scene. Her unique style and charisma are a great addition to AEW's women's division and could help elevate the division to new heights.
Secondly, younger wrestlers are often more adaptable and open to learning new skills. They may not have as much experience as some of the more established wrestlers, but they are often more willing to try new things and take risks. This can lead to some exciting and innovative matches that fans will love to watch. Skye Blue is known for her high-flying moves and agility in the ring, which could add a new dimension to AEW's women's division.
Finally, signing younger wrestlers like Skye Blue is a great investment in the future of AEW. These wrestlers have the potential to grow and develop over time, becoming top stars in the industry. AEW has already shown that it is committed to nurturing young talent, and signing wrestlers like Skye Blue is a continuation of that strategy. With the right guidance and support, these wrestlers could become the faces of AEW's women's division for years to come.
Let me know your thoughts on this signing for AEW. I love it and think she has massive potential.
