With AEW's recent announcement that they will be heading to England for All In on August 27th at Wembley Stadium, fans around the world are no doubt wondering where else the company might be headed in the future. While AEW has primarily focused on touring in the United States thus far, it's clear that they have international ambitions as well. So, which other countries might AEW tour in the future?
AEW has run some shows in Canada, starting with Dynamite and Rampage in Toronto last October followed by the same shows coming to Winnipeg in March. They’ll be coming back to Canada for a summer tour that includes Forbidden Door co-presented with NJPW at The Scotia Bank Centre.
Another country that AEW might consider touring is Japan. Japan has a long and storied history in the world of professional wrestling, and there is no shortage of talented Japanese wrestlers who could make for exciting matchups with AEW's roster. Additionally, Japan has a passionate fanbase for wrestling, which could make for some truly electric live events.
Other countries that AEW might consider touring could include Mexico, Australia, and the Germany Each of these countries has a rich wrestling history and a dedicated fanbase, making them potentially lucrative markets for AEW.
Of course, planning a tour of another country is no easy feat, and there are a number of logistical and financial considerations to take into account. However, with AEW's growing success and global ambitions, it seems likely that we'll be seeing the company take their brand of professional wrestling to even more countries in the future.
Would you like to see AEW come to your country? One country they should look to break into is India. With their population and AEW wrestler Satnam Singh being from India, it could present a massive area of opportunity. Let me know your thoughts on Twitter.
