Both Women's Titles Changing Hands At Backlash?

Could we see both WWE Women’s Championships change hands at Backlash? Rhea Ripley just won the Smackdown’s Women Title so it would be quick for her to lose it. From a post-WWE Draft stand point though, it makes a ton of sense. Not just for Rhea to lose though. For Bianca Belair to lose her Raw Women’s Title as well. Rhea Ripley defends against the Puerto Rican Queen, Zelina Vega. While Bianca Belair defends against Iyo Sky.

Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair were both drafted to the opposite brand of their Championship’s name. Rhea is the Smackdown’s Women Champion and she was drafted to Raw. Bianca is the Raw Women’s Champion and she was drafted to Smackdown. Zelina Vega was drafted to Smackdown, so she would slot in perfectly as Smackdown’s Champion. While Iyo Sky was drafted to Raw and would win keep the Raw Women’s Championship on Raw.

We could easily see WWE have them switch Titles backstage like they’ve done previously but I don’t think fans would like that. I know I wouldn’t. Instead, you could have the crowd favourite Vega get a huge, well deserved moment. Iyo Sky is more than deserving as a Single’s Women’s Title reign on the main roster as well.

While WWE has been known to have the home country favourite lose, they shouldn’t do that with Vega. This would make the most sense so WWE should just go ahead and pull the trigger. Let me know your thoughts either here or on Twitter.

If John Cena Beats Cody Rhodes he Technically Becomes an 18-Time World Champion

John Cena won the Elimination Chamber on Saturday night and secured an Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania this April. What followed was a shocking heel turn that fans have wanted for years. That’s not what I’m talking about here. We’re talking about how John Cena will technically become an 18-time World Champion if he beats Cody Rhodes. That would put him two ahead of Ric Flair. Ever since Roman Reigns beat Brock Lesnar to unify the WWE Championship and the Universal Championship. From that point on, WWE recognized Roman as having two Championship reigns. With the Universal Championship and with the WWE Championship. Same with Cody Rhodes when he beat Reigns for the Undisputed Championship at last year’s WresteMania. Bobby Lashley Issues Warning to Jon Moxley

Bobby Lashley debuted in All Elite Wrestling on October 30th last year, rejoining his former WWE stablemates MVP and Shelton Benjamin, forming The Hurt Syndicate. Lashley and The Hurt Syndicate are one of the hottest acts in AEW right now with Lashley and Benjamin winning the World Tag Team Titles last month. It’s inevitable that Bobby Lashley will get a World Championship shot at some point. He’s very over right now and a legit main event talent. Lashley gave a warning to AEW World Champion Jon Moxley when speaking to the Sporting Tribune . Lashley said it’s only a matter of time till they face off but he’s focused on his tag team right now. Lashley said that when Jon Moxley sees him in the locker room, he stays clear of him.
