Chris Jericho Starring in New Country Music Movie

Chris Jericho has been announced for a new country music movie. The film was first announced by Variety on Tuesday and is slated to be released later this year in the fall.

Jericho, the former AEW World Champion and WWE Superstar, will play Bones Jamieson in the film. Jamieson is a rock star ranch owner who is also a husband and father to a family of country music artists. In addition to managing his family's music career, Jamieson is also attempting to start a new horse breeding business. Sounds kind of like Chris himself trying to balance his wrestling life and his music life.

Jericho himself took to Instagram to share the news of his involvement in the film, expressing his excitement and gratitude for the opportunity. You may famously remember Chris Jericho from the movie MacGruber or Terrifier 2, in which he had expanded cameo appearances.

I think there’s an audience for this movie, probably. But I am not that audience at all. I hope our guy, Chris is getting paid for well for this. That’s all I’ll say.

If John Cena Beats Cody Rhodes he Technically Becomes an 18-Time World Champion

John Cena won the Elimination Chamber on Saturday night and secured an Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania this April. What followed was a shocking heel turn that fans have wanted for years. That’s not what I’m talking about here. We’re talking about how John Cena will technically become an 18-time World Champion if he beats Cody Rhodes. That would put him two ahead of Ric Flair. Ever since Roman Reigns beat Brock Lesnar to unify the WWE Championship and the Universal Championship. From that point on, WWE recognized Roman as having two Championship reigns. With the Universal Championship and with the WWE Championship. Same with Cody Rhodes when he beat Reigns for the Undisputed Championship at last year’s WresteMania. Bobby Lashley Issues Warning to Jon Moxley

Bobby Lashley debuted in All Elite Wrestling on October 30th last year, rejoining his former WWE stablemates MVP and Shelton Benjamin, forming The Hurt Syndicate. Lashley and The Hurt Syndicate are one of the hottest acts in AEW right now with Lashley and Benjamin winning the World Tag Team Titles last month. It’s inevitable that Bobby Lashley will get a World Championship shot at some point. He’s very over right now and a legit main event talent. Lashley gave a warning to AEW World Champion Jon Moxley when speaking to the Sporting Tribune . Lashley said it’s only a matter of time till they face off but he’s focused on his tag team right now.
