David Finlay Wins NEVER Openweight Championship at NJPW Wrestling Dontaku Show

David Finlay is the new Never Openweight Champion. He defeated Tama Tonga at today’s NJPW Dontaku show. It’s a big win for Finlay as it’s the first time in his career he’s ever held a Single’s Title.

But Finlay's victory was not just a personal triumph. It also has significant implications for the Bullet Club, as he is now the leader of the faction. This is a position that has been held by some of the greatest wrestlers in NJPW history, including AJ Styles, Kenny Omega and Jay White.

Finlay's win and subsequent leadership role represent a new era for the Bullet Club, one that is sure to be closely watched by fans around the world. As he continues to defend his title and lead the faction, he will be facing some of the toughest competitors in the business. But if his performance at Wrestling Dontaku is any indication, he is more than up to the challenge. A big win over an original member of Bullet Club is a nice notch on the belt for the young Finlay.

If John Cena Beats Cody Rhodes he Technically Becomes an 18-Time World Champion

John Cena won the Elimination Chamber on Saturday night and secured an Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania this April. What followed was a shocking heel turn that fans have wanted for years. That’s not what I’m talking about here. We’re talking about how John Cena will technically become an 18-time World Champion if he beats Cody Rhodes. That would put him two ahead of Ric Flair. Ever since Roman Reigns beat Brock Lesnar to unify the WWE Championship and the Universal Championship. From that point on, WWE recognized Roman as having two Championship reigns. With the Universal Championship and with the WWE Championship. Same with Cody Rhodes when he beat Reigns for the Undisputed Championship at last year’s WresteMania. Bobby Lashley Issues Warning to Jon Moxley

Bobby Lashley debuted in All Elite Wrestling on October 30th last year, rejoining his former WWE stablemates MVP and Shelton Benjamin, forming The Hurt Syndicate. Lashley and The Hurt Syndicate are one of the hottest acts in AEW right now with Lashley and Benjamin winning the World Tag Team Titles last month. It’s inevitable that Bobby Lashley will get a World Championship shot at some point. He’s very over right now and a legit main event talent.
