Anthony Henry Expresses Doubt About In-Ring Future Following AEW Release

Anthony Henry says he may never wrestle again following his release from All Elite Wrestling. Henry took to social media to thank fans but said he’s not sure if he’ll continue to wrestle. Henry also says that he’s devastated which is understandable.

I like Anthony Henry. I think he has a good look and is a good worker. His tag team with JD Drake, The WorkHorsemen has received rave reviews from fans in person and online.

Henry is currently on the shelf with a broken jaw that he suffered at an indie event last month. Between the injury and the release it’s easy to see why he’s not sure if he’s going to continue wrestling. I’d like to see him continue. Just because it didn’t work out for him in WWE NXT as Asher Hale or AEW doesn’t mean that his career is doomed. Despite being 40 years old, I think he can still make his mark on pro wrestling.

When he’s healed I’d be interested to see him resume teaming with JD Drake. It seems like both wrestlers found something that worked for them. It’ll be interesting to see if he even continues but I hope he does. Even if it isn’t with one of the major companies there’s still plenty of options to wrestle at.

If John Cena Beats Cody Rhodes he Technically Becomes an 18-Time World Champion

John Cena won the Elimination Chamber on Saturday night and secured an Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania this April. What followed was a shocking heel turn that fans have wanted for years. That’s not what I’m talking about here. We’re talking about how John Cena will technically become an 18-time World Champion if he beats Cody Rhodes. That would put him two ahead of Ric Flair. Ever since Roman Reigns beat Brock Lesnar to unify the WWE Championship and the Universal Championship. From that point on, WWE recognized Roman as having two Championship reigns. With the Universal Championship and with the WWE Championship. Same with Cody Rhodes when he beat Reigns for the Undisputed Championship at last year’s WresteMania. Bobby Lashley Issues Warning to Jon Moxley

Bobby Lashley debuted in All Elite Wrestling on October 30th last year, rejoining his former WWE stablemates MVP and Shelton Benjamin, forming The Hurt Syndicate. Lashley and The Hurt Syndicate are one of the hottest acts in AEW right now with Lashley and Benjamin winning the World Tag Team Titles last month. It’s inevitable that Bobby Lashley will get a World Championship shot at some point. He’s very over right now and a legit main event talent. Lashley gave a warning to AEW World Champion Jon Moxley when speaking to the Sporting Tribune . Lashley said it’s only a matter of time till they face off but he’s focused on his tag team right now. Lashley said that when Jon Moxley sees him in the locker room, he stays clear of him.
