CM Punk and Corey Graves Are Pals Again

CM Punk and Corey Graves are friends again. The source? Corey himself on the legendary Bill Apter’s Sportskeeda WrestleBinge. Corey said that he and CM Punk ran into each other at Survivor Series and that they had a good talk at the Royal Rumble.

“I am proud to report that it’s all water under the bridge. I finally had a chance in-person - I bumped into him briefly the night of Survivor Series backstage, but it was chaotic. He had just come back, everything was at 11 at the moment. So the day of the Royal Rumble at Tropicana Field, I actually got to pull him aside for a few minutes and we cleared the air. Had a nice, long chat.”

That’s good to hear. You might remember Corey Graves told Fightful that he and CM Punk had a falling out. Graves said that he asked Punk about grabbing dinner and Punk declined because he didn’t want to be friends with anyone in WWE. Man how times have changed.

It sounds like CM Punk has a great reputation back in WWE. There was a time where people wouldn’t believe that but here we are. Punker seems to be making amends with everyone these days.

If John Cena Beats Cody Rhodes he Technically Becomes an 18-Time World Champion

John Cena won the Elimination Chamber on Saturday night and secured an Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania this April. What followed was a shocking heel turn that fans have wanted for years. That’s not what I’m talking about here. We’re talking about how John Cena will technically become an 18-time World Champion if he beats Cody Rhodes. That would put him two ahead of Ric Flair. Ever since Roman Reigns beat Brock Lesnar to unify the WWE Championship and the Universal Championship. From that point on, WWE recognized Roman as having two Championship reigns. With the Universal Championship and with the WWE Championship. Same with Cody Rhodes when he beat Reigns for the Undisputed Championship at last year’s WresteMania. Bobby Lashley Issues Warning to Jon Moxley

Bobby Lashley debuted in All Elite Wrestling on October 30th last year, rejoining his former WWE stablemates MVP and Shelton Benjamin, forming The Hurt Syndicate. Lashley and The Hurt Syndicate are one of the hottest acts in AEW right now with Lashley and Benjamin winning the World Tag Team Titles last month. It’s inevitable that Bobby Lashley will get a World Championship shot at some point. He’s very over right now and a legit main event talent. Lashley gave a warning to AEW World Champion Jon Moxley when speaking to the Sporting Tribune . Lashley said it’s only a matter of time till they face off but he’s focused on his tag team right now.
