USA Network will be airing a new WWE documentary for America’s 250th birthday. USA Network announced to Variety today that WWE: Made in America will air immediately following May 29th’s Smackdown. Fans will get a look into WWE ties to the USA over the years on the USA Network. What’s more American than that?

As seen over the years, WWE has a strong connection to America. From patriotic wrestlers like Sgt. Slaughter, Hulk Hogan and John Cena to the post-9/11 Smackdown. WWE has no shortage of ties to America and they’re going to be on full display during this documentary.
Wrestling has so many influences on American culture and WWE has been at the forefront of that over the past 50 years. WWE continues to have an impact on the pop culture lexicon in the United States.
