Will Jacob Fatu or Bron Breakker be a Bigger Star?

Bron Breakker and Jacob Fatu are two wrestlers with insanely bright futures in WWE. People have called them both future WrestleMania main eventers, will they ever get to that point? Which one does it first? The question I’m posing, is which of these wrestlers has a brighter future? They’re coming off pivotal points in their career. Breakker, having beat Seth Rollins to start the show. Then Fatu losing to the biggest star in the company, Roman Reigns in the main event. Both men proved they can hang with established main event stars.

I thought Bron Breakker would have progressed more by this point. He was a stone cold killer in NXT but on the main roster, he hasn’t shown that same dominant presence. There’s been glimpses but he hasn’t coming close to realizing his full potential. It can take wrestlers a while to connect with the audience. I mean, look at Roman Reigns. It took him years to finally connect with the audience, but when he came into his own he became bigger than we ever thought he’d be. Will that be the same for Bron Breakker or Jacob Fatu? We’ll see.

Jacob Fatu had a tough time getting to WWE. Anyone who saw him wrestle in the independents or for MLW could see the potential in him. However it took years for him to get signed to the company. He’s had a bit of controversy in the past, having spent time in jail before becoming a wrestler. Jacob thankfully was able to turn his life around and he’s become one of the best monsters in the business. He’s akin to the new Umaga but Jacob has the chance to become the bigger star. An Umaga with some hops.

I have the utmost believe in both these wrestlers to become huge stars. With WrestleMania having two main events and provided these guys can stay healthy, I could see them becoming WrestleMania main eventers. As for who’s going to become the bigger star? Right now, I’d say Bron Breakker. I’ve been a Bron guy since he started in NXT. Although thinking about, I was a big supporter of “The Samoan Werewolf” as well in MLW. Contra was an awesome stable and proved he can be the top guy of a company. So I’m torn here but I’ll lean Breakker because he’s younger.

I’m curious to get everyone else’s opinion. If you had to say right now, who’s going to be a bigger star what’s your answer?

Book This Episode 1: The Summer of Punk Rebooked Prelude

Let’s go back to 2011, specifically June of 2011. CM Punk’s contract is expiring soon and he’s getting ready to have the biggest run of his career. On June 27th, 2011 CM Punk would cut a promo that would have the wrestling world buzzing for years to come. In his promo, Punk said that his contract expired next month and that he, the Number One Contender, would be leaving  WWE with the WWE Championship. He’d also go onto take shots at not only his opponent the following month, John Cena but other icons in the history of WWE. Whether employed by the company or not. He’d also tease defending his WWE Championship in Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling. Essentially he’d be a travelling World Champion, ala the territory days. Well, CM Punk did win the WWE Championship the next month from John Cena at Money in the Bank. However, what would happen after would disappoint wrestling fans more than anything else that’s happened in years.       How t...

If John Cena Beats Cody Rhodes he Technically Becomes an 18-Time World Champion

John Cena won the Elimination Chamber on Saturday night and secured an Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania this April. What followed was a shocking heel turn that fans have wanted for years. That’s not what I’m talking about here. We’re talking about how John Cena will technically become an 18-time World Champion if he beats Cody Rhodes. That would put him two ahead of Ric Flair.  Ever since Roman Reigns beat Brock Lesnar to unify the WWE Championship and the Universal Championship. From that point on, WWE recognized Roman as having two Championship reigns. With the Universal Championship and with the WWE Championship. Same with Cody Rhodes when he beat Reigns for the Undisputed Championship at last year’s WresteMania. If you look at WWE’s website it shows two concurrent reigns for Cody.  If Cena beats Cody it’s always possible that WWE in the future recognizes this as one World Title reign instead of two. There’s a few of Flair’s reign...

Bobby Lashley Issues Warning to Jon Moxley

Bobby Lashley debuted in All Elite Wrestling on October 30th last year, rejoining his former WWE stablemates MVP and Shelton Benjamin, forming The Hurt Syndicate. Lashley and The Hurt Syndicate are one of the hottest acts in AEW right now with Lashley and Benjamin winning the World Tag Team Titles last month. It’s inevitable that Bobby Lashley will get a World Championship shot at some point. He’s very over right now and a legit main event talent.  Lashley gave a warning to AEW World Champion Jon Moxley when speaking to the Sporting Tribune . Lashley said it’s only a matter of time till they face off but he’s focused on his tag team right now. Lashley said that when Jon Moxley sees him in the locker room, he stays clear of him.  Despite being cheered like a babyface, Bobby Lashley is a heel and Jon Moxley is also a heel so I don’t see them facing off soon. But I like the idea of a Moxley/Lashley match whether it’s for the Title or not. Saying that, I’d also be a fan of Bo...
