What is Powerhouse Hobbs' Ceiling in WWE?

What is the ceiling for Royce Keys in WWE? The former Powerhouse Hobbs made his debut for WWE at the Royal Rumble last month. Hobbs had an over five year run in AEW and many believed he had the tools to become a World Champion there. His contract expired in January and followed what former fellow Team Tay member Ricky Starks did… jumped ship to WWE.   Keys was interviewed by Stephanie McMahon for her What’s Your Story podcast and discussed his goals for his WWE run.   “I want to become a champion. I want to become a legend. I want to be in the Hall of Fame.”  He told McMahon.  Hobbs would also that he wants to be remembered as one of the most “dominant and feared” competitors of all time.   What do you think the ceiling is for Powerhouse Hobbs? Will he do what he was unable to do in AEW, and become World Champion in WWE? He certainly has the tools for it. I think his work on the mic could be developed more, but WWE is arguably the best place to do that. He has ...

CM Punk's Miseria Cantare Entrance Will be Part of WWE 2K26

A new article by TechRadar has revealed that WWE 2K26 cover athlete CM Punk’s 2003 version will be coming to the ring to Miseria Cantare - The Beginning by AFI. A song synonymous with that era of CM Punk. TechRadar Gaming interviewed WWE 2K26’s MyRise lead narrative designer, Sean Conaway who revealed a ton of exciting details about the upcoming launch. You can check out the interview here . Conaway shed details on this year’s iteration of MyRise, which will be known as “The Comeback.”   While addressing the criticism that last year’s unlock system in MyRise was repetitive, it was revealed that one of the unlocks will be CM Punk’s 2003 persona. Complete with AFI’s Miseria Cantare - The Beginning as his entrance music.   Punk used the song in the early 2000s while he was one of the top independent wrestlers touring the country. He’s never used it in WWE but did use it in AEW. What do you think about the inclusion of this? If you’re looking for the complete CM Punk experience, y...

Women's mixed martial arts legend Ronda Rousey is making her return to MMA. It was announced today that Ronda will be taking on fellow MMA legend Gina Carano on May 16th from the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles.  It's been announced that the bout will be held at the 145 pound weight class. The event will be broadcasted on Netflix and is being promoted by Jake Paul's Most Valuable Promotion.  A decade ago Ronda Rousey was the face of the UFC and one of the most talked about athletes on the planet. Hear last fight was in December of 2016, when she was knocked out quickly by Amanda Nunes. Nunes became a household name and Ronda left the UFC to pursue a career in WWE.  Carano in her own right is also viewed as a pioneer for women in mixed martial arts. She hasn't fought since she lost to Cris Cyborg in 2019.  Both women have trancensed MMA, landing several roles as actors in Hollywood. These are two of the biggest names in MMA from yesteryear. Who will come out on top on May ...

CM Punk and AJ Lee Appearances Announced For February 16th Monday Night Raw

Tonight’s Monday Night Raw is emanating from FedExForum in Memphis, Tennessee and WWE has announced an appearance from WWE World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk as well as WWE Legend AJ Lee.  Punk will be addressing his upcoming foes Finn Balor and Roman Reigns (If Punk survives Balor). Punk and Balor will be doing battle at Elimination Chamber in CM Punk’s home town Chicago at Elimination Chamber. Provided Punk beats Balor, he’ll have essentially punched his ticket for his second WrestleMania main event in a row against the Royal Rumble winner, Roman Reigns.  When CM Punk breaths into a microphone, it gets the wrestling world talking. From hyping his title fights to bringing the best out of Roman Reigns in years, there’s few that can out-battle Punk on the mic.  As far as AJ goes, she'll be there to hype her upcoming Intercontinental Championship match against Becky Lynch at Elimination Chamber. AJ returned to WWE programming last week and immediately called out Lynch ...

Why The IInspiration Signing With AEW is a Home Run

The IInspiration (Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay), the former IIconics have signed on with All Elite Wrestling. They appeared at a house show for AEW in Australia on the weekend and Fightful Select is reporting that they’ve signed multi-year deals with the company. I think this is a home run signing for AEW and I’ll tell you why.   This past September, AEW announced the creation of the Women’s World Tag Team Championships. At this point, most companies have women’s tag team championships but I’ve noticed one glaring problem with every division. There’s simply not enough depth for the Titles to be a focal point on the show. What usually happens is there’s a few tag teams that are solid, and then a couple thrown together with established singles stars. The problem with throwing together teams with singles wrestlers is that it takes away from your singles division. A wrestler like Toni Storm is better suited in a situation where she can be the sole focus. Same with wrestlers like Rhea ...

NEW AEW Women's World Champion Crowned on Dynamite

We have a new AEW Women's World Champion following this week's edition of Dynamite. "The Toxic Spider" Thekla emerged victorious in a vicious strap match against Kris Statlander to become the new Champion.  Statlander almost had it won when she hit Saturday Night Fever onto Thekla. Then Skye Blue and Julia Hart interfered, distracting Statlander and allowing Thekla to tied Statlander's hands behind her back and nail a stomp for the win. The Triangle of Madness (Thekla, Hart and Blue) celebrated after the match until The Brawling Birds, Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor came to even things up.  It's been a quick rise for Thekla, as she debuted for AEW less than a year ago. She's an iniditiamting presence and has risen up the AEW ranks quickly. Thekla is clearly someone that Tony Khan and AEW view as the present and future of the women's division.  As for Statlander, she goes back to chasing the Title following a 144 day reign as Champion that began back at ...

Brock Lesnar Announced For February 23rd Episode of Raw

WWE announced today that Brock Lesnar will be on the February 23rd episode of Raw from State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. Wrestling fans haven't seen Brock since January 31st's Royal Rumble, when he unsuccessfully vied to win the Rumble for the 3rd time in his career.  Brock is sure to be setting up his match for WrestleMania in April. Who he will face? Many wrestling fans are salivating over the idea of Oba Femi challenging "The Beast" in a changing of the guard match. Femi is viewed by some fans as "The Next Brock Lesnar" and a match between the two would put Femi on the map. They had a confrontation at the Royal Rumble and Brock eliminated Femi. The Rumble has been used to set up future matchups outside of the World Championship, for example Shawn Michaels and Kurt Angle from the 2005 Royal Rumble. Was Brock eliminating Oba Femi a tease for an upcoming match? We'll see. I'd like to present a different option.  "The Social Media Superstar...
